For the ladies: how often do you get cancellations? Outright no-shows?

Just curious. Was setting up a time for a session with a provider and she suggested we make it later because she was in a 'pissy mood' right then as an appointment flaked on her. I salute her honesty. (And am grateful she had the presence of mind to acknowledge that)

I never have a no call no show. However, on occasion, I will have a cancellation. Being in a town, where businessmen are prominent, sometimes there are unexpected meetings/dinners which calls for a cancellation. I do try to accommodate the gentlemen, by offering another day or time if available.

I have found that communication is key. As a companion, I stay in close contact with my dates up until our scheduled date. I advise them, if anything changes to let me know ASAP...so, I can try to accommodate them. For me, this has worked brilliantly and the gentlemen appreciate my professionalism!

Regarding the provider that was in the pissy mood. She did the right thing by cancelling. However, from experience, I've learned to brush that shit off...meaning, leave the poor experience behind and move on swiftly, without detection from my next date.

As a hobbyist, canceling is poison, whether it's me or her.  As for the ladies, they are more likely to do so...including close friends, seeing other clients that offer more $ at the eleventh hour... :( .  That happened earlier this this year...she may think this is cool to postpone, and it usually is if they tell us, but don't think for a minute that it is forgotten.

I agree wholeheartedly, Paris. I tell ladies all the time, that if you run into a gent that gives you the courtesy of scheduling far enough in advance, take the chance and get to know him. How do you expect someone to anticipate your meeting if you don't give them a reason to?

Regarding the provider in a pissy mood, it sounds like you should have been a welcome change from her previous appointment. You can't be THAT pissed off about a guy flaking unless you needed the money. IMO, she should have met you...

One reason I tell people I discourage appointments made more than a week in advance.

Honestly I think given too much time.. men think too much about it and get nervous.
Lately I try to get a small deposit upfront to ensure the person is serious about making the time. (or I'm tempted to book over him given the opportunity with someone who will commit with cash)

Even with that, recently I got a last minute cancellation becuz the guys daughter was working on her doctorate at UT Austin and decided last minute to drive down to visit him... He said he rather see me but couldn't get out of it... so things happen.

I guess 'often' is a relative term.
But since I mostly sell a handful of longer appointments a month, primarily dinners and overnights now a days (just the economy I guess)
to loose out on one seems I've missed alot....

I don't keep track of a percentage.  Lately one is too many and what I'd label 'often'

To the Honorable and Illustrious Ms. Bouvier:
What would you attribute to your fellow hobbyist near perfect attendance? Would you attribute it to your intelligence, personality or your immense libidinal ability on why they would never no call no show? Or being that you are a highly rated provider in the country and probably one of the preeminent providers in the world would it be the reputation that you might have with other providers that would harm a hobbyist reputation with respect to him getting future engagements that would motivate them to comport themselves in such a refined manner? Please elaborate in detail at your earliest convenience Madam Bouvier.

and in fact that suggests a more quality lady to me.

I don't schedule many appointments so my rate of flakes is very low. I think if I was a high volume touring lady it'd be way up.

Sounds like you are the one with issues.
maybe with your own father.  ?
(that is rhetorical, please don't answer)

A guy that would rather leave home to see a hooker than his daughter who came to town is a piece of shit in my book.

Sorry, I enjoy spending time with my family, and I mourn the ones that are gone.

Maybe EWE are the rude one.

You shout it for everyone to see by what you post.

Or is calling someone you do not know "a piece of shit" the new friendly way of greeting someone.

By the way, I used to think I was a very poor speller until I saw your posts.

Your supposed sarcasm that comes across as a bitter angry person (gender to be determined) and has to be pointed out as sarcasm is, in truth, not sarcasm.  It is a rude, bitter person.  No more, no less.

Your posts speak for themselves and for what you are far more convincingly than I can.
