Someone around my age contacted me as Cosette.

We chatted a couple of times by email but couldn't make a time work. The other day I was on Tinder (for those who don't know it's an app that people use where you sign up and you see people's pictures and say Yes/No to them, it's probably an even split on it being a dating/hooking up app). This person was around my age and new, so even when he contacted Cosette he attached a picture as a sign of good faith. I recognized the picture on Tinder.

Has this happened before, seeing people's profile on dating sites and having to decide whether to see them under $ circumstances or not? Just curious

In fact, considering I'm a very hard-to-miss person (aka I'm a bald black woman), I've been called out on dating sites for being an escort. Well, only on OKC. Since I'm "out," it doesn't bother me, but it's still very funny when, at least once a month, I get a message from some guy thinking he's insulting me by telling me what I do for a living...

On Tinder when some one says Yes/No, what are the saying Yes/No to?

the picture just goes away.
If you say Yes but he has already said No, the picture goes away too.
If you say Yes and he said Yes, you're a Match and you can now chat on their instant messenger!

And if you say Yes and he hasn't said anything it goes away too and sometimes days later you'll get a Yes! You're a Match when he finally decided to say Yes or just never hear again if he said No. It's very local though so you get people within a certain radius. So when 3am rolls around and there's matches going on, you'll immediately get an instant chat with "Hey ;-) I can be there in 10 minutes by cab".

No, 10 years in the business and nothing like that has ever happened, because I prevent it. Now, I have run into two people knew me as London after the fact, but only 2 is nothing.

One of my close relatives is named London. If you've only encountered two with that name, we could be related. Scary, huh?
