It’s pretty obvious the age department is getting taken advantage of here. One can only be in their 20’s & 30’s for so long. Why not update your age?

In defense of the providers the profile is set up by the first reviewer and age is one item.
Would say over half of the providers have not claimed  their profile a do not even know they have one. Also many are under control of agency.
Of those that have claimed many are not aware of how easy it is to do a problem  report and  correct age and most items except scores on their profile.
Lastly will admit there are many more 39 year old providers listed that are in their 40s or more .

Some of those younger age groups guys avoid because the providers are immature and don't provide as good service.  Sessions are too much rush rush etc.

I thought the 5yr age brackets automatically ticked over as the years change, like how the system (I'm guessing it's automated and not a human doing it) knows what month and year it is when a new review posts? When I came back, my age bracket was adjusted for the time I'd been away...

But if it doesn't work that way and profiles must be updated manually, I'd hazard it has to do with search parameters. I may be wrong, but I'd wager there are far more searches that end at 39 and 50 than those that include 50+. Guys who know they vibe better with mature ladies (or have mommy kinks) would likely include 50+ in their searches but otherwise, my guess is that the social programming of women being 'past their prime' at a certain point is still widely represented in search volume.

I think it would benefit most ladies to use their real age, as an older guy, I don't want to see young women, 60-year-old guy with a 20-year-old girl. it's creepy to me.  Give me a 40, 45 50 55... year old woman with experience

A.) Initial incorrect "guess" by first reviewer. Extremely common in the Asian Agency category. Guys seem to thing 35-45 yo Asians look 25.
b.) it's NOT automatically updated by TER. Provider needs to do it or a problem report needs to be submitted. I've submitted a few based on seeing an age of 20-25 and her review history dates back to 2012. As far as providers self-reporting, I'd hazard to guess only a small percentage of reviewed providers are actual TER members. These providers just don't care or don't want their age updated. I know of only a few providers who have updated their own age, typically after a negative review calling her out.
c.) ageism is real. Another guess, but the majority of clients probably cap their search at 39, or even lower, knowing advertised ages are often 5-10 years low and they don't want to see granny-panties.  As much as I enjoy my 40-y.o. regular, nothing makes me harder then having a college-aged hottie's thighs pressing against my ears.

You just explained why as you do not find many top 10s anywhere in the country below the26-30 age list which puts more credence to what you say.

I see changes are made, and all providers have the ability to update their profiles. My breasts size changes when I gain weight. I update. When I loose weight I update. I feel it puts you at a disadvantage if you are not accurate because your reviews could reflect honesty.

I had a wonderful appointment with a hot provider. We had a blast. After the appointment she admitted that the age in her ad was wrong. She had 28 in her ad, she admitted she was 40. I didn’t care, she was really sexy. But she said that she would have a harder time getting bookings if she was honest about her age. She said mist clients prefer younger women. I think that is one reason. Sometimes providers lie about things because they think it will get them more clients.

So… a bit of context. I was younger and less experienced. If she didn’t mention anything I would not have noticed. Also, to be honest I didn’t care, even after she told me. She looked like the photos on her ad, which is all I cared about. She was a gorgeous and sexy Brazilian woman. We had a great time. I saw her a few more times. She continued getting rave reviews as well.

However, once she mentioned it I did kind of notice it. These days I’d be more likely to pick up on it. That being said, she was on Backpage. Everyone else was claiming to be 21 or 22. I just kind of assumed everyone was lying about their age. At the end of the day I don’t really care about anyone’s age. I only care if I’m attracted to them and if they’re a good time.

In my case if they post under 35 I dont even bother looking.  I personally dont want to see anyone younger than my kids.  More power to you if it works for you just an ick factor for me.

If a provider's profile lists her age as 26-30 and then you look at her ad or website in which she states her age is 33, all you have to do is file a Problem Report to have her age updated.  It's not brain surgery; it takes less than a minute.  That's one reason why I have 9,758 VIP days in my account.

I tell people all the time how old I am they NEVER believe it. I always say if I am going to lie about my age I'll lie younger. When I was  with my son to pick up his firstborn when she started kindergarten [shes in 3rd grade now] this lady in the line asked if we were picking up our daughter. My son just about had a heart attack and said ''GROSS THAT'S MY MOM''

In my late 40s I started saying I was 50. Now in my late 50s I refer to myself as 60. I'd rather guy say I look amazing for 60 than just average for 40. Also, the amount of ladies who advertise as 60 is very small. I get to really stand out in a small group.

I will be turning 46 in March!! If someone wants to update my profile to say 46-50 (AAAAHHH!!!) you are welcome to do so to get the VIP points!!!

I'm on the same page. Most agencies alter a model's age. It's basically an unwritten rule-but some take it way too far. One agency tried to list me as 24. 😳 Absolutely not! It's
my profile, my photos, and my reputation. I'm not risking bad reviews because of someone else's decision.
