Quick question for hobbyists

I have "hours".  For example, 10am-10pm.

Every once in a while, someone will request an earlier or later appt.  I usually stay up late at night drinking tequila or doing god knows what, so I am usually very sleepy and groggy in the morning.  Or if Im out too late doing an outcall, I get tired and its dangerous driving home at 2, 3 am...

Anyway, my question is: If you strongly preferred an early morning (or late night) session, what do you think about a provider offering extended hours-- for her inconvenience-- at an upcharge?  Say, $200 addl to her rates.

Or is this a turn off?  Should she just operate when she is best and for those who cant make those hours, say too bad?

Simple question.  I probably know the answer but just checking as I update my website content.

I try to avoid late night appointments since I'm too tired by then and my eyes start drying up fast.

Sometimes I can't even remember who I saw, due to my age and senility,

The idea of charging us more because there is "hazard pay" involved probably doesn't sit well with most, and certainly not with me.  If you have your hours, state that and move on.  Anyone who can't make it within 10 am and 10 pm is someone not worth seeing.

Yeah, time is money. Blah fucking blah. I have no problem getting drunk by myself. Why the fuck would I want to give you, or any other lady, money to watch you drink? Especially when I'm paying to get you drunk in the firstplace?

Seems to me, there's some guys out there that are so starved for attention or companionship they'll do just that. Fucking pussies.

Here's the deal. If we're not nekkid, I ain't paying you. I can call all sorts of people that'll drop what they're doing to drink with me, I'm that fun.

And I won't have to pay them for their 'time'.

I would not want to see someone who has been drinking

Skinny Minnie already knows the answer to her OP, but if she ever needs someone to share a bottle of Tequila with her, she has my number, and if she gets too drunk to drive home, I am sure I can find somewhere for us, err I mean her, to sleep it off. lol

I might have a young lady that I now call my GF, but we haven't declared exclusivity yet. lol

I think some people misinterpreted what I was talking about.  I dont drink on the way to a session or go to a session drunk.  I was talking about what I do in my offtime (alone) that makes me sleepy the following morning-- and not thrilled about an early, next day appt.

Yeah, Im still mad at you for having a GF but if it doesnt work out, maybe we can have a good cry together and drown our sorrows with a nice bottle of tequila/scotch.  haha.

It should be pretty easy to do considering she is a thousand miles away right now. Phone fights are the easiest. lol

As for the bottle of tequila/scotch, let's pick one or the other, my memories of getting drunk on both at the same time are not pleasant ones. lol

Just say no. I agree with halfhour on preferring to hear "no" than "yes for xxx." I figure if you are out of your comfort zone of time (or any other comfort zone) then I will probably not get your best service anyway. As to your reply to halfie that you were wondering if "some guys" exist that would be willing to pay extra, the answer is yes. Of course some guys exist that would do all kinds of things. People are different and think different, but my best guess is that the vast majority of men probably think like me and half on this point.

As far as I'm concerned the clock starts when the key hits the door, or when you open it up to them.

If I book a 2 hour and we spend half an hour downstairs over drinks, that's her time. Not mine.

Like I said earlier, I'm not paying to watch you drink. Especially since I'll be picking up the tab in the firstplace. That's not right. I'm all for getting to know each other better and making the lady feel comfy with me. But I'm not going to pay double, or short change myself with my time.

I was told this before by other ladies I've met and some I haven't yet. When we meet and goof off it's on them. Whether it's drinks, a meal, gambling, whatever. Of course I buy, but we're not on the clock as far as the deal is concerned.

Maybe I got spoiled. Blame it on them.

If a lady has a problem with this, and ever had the notion of entertaining me in the future, tell me now so we don't waste each other's time. My time is just as precious to me as a lady's is to her's.

Don't know how much more straightforward I can be.

She is not talking about drinking or goofing off on time that you booked. Her question was if her normal hours of availability are from 10 to 10, what should she do if someone wants to see her at midnight? Or 6am? Should she charge more for that? I say no, don't charge more. Just don't accept the date if it is outside of her normal hours.

You state your hours and leave it at that. I would love to have a provider be available in the AM but if you can't be don't make any bogus promises. I've suffered more NCNS's in the am than any other time frame. Why is it that a client can find a hooker at 2am but not at 7am? 2am can cause undue attention in an otherwise shut-down location, whereas a 7am would not on the average.

here is my two cents...

As I said, it's your business to run as you choose. I also agree that in general most folks don't want to hear about an upsell.

I would suggest declining politely saying that your hours allow you to be at your best for your clients. If they insist, then at that point you could make the offer you suggested, if you want to do so.

However, should he take you up on the upsell offer, be prepared to be at your best. If the client pays extra and gets sub-par service...Well this is a train wreck waiting to happen. Regardless that he insisted on something outside of your normal hours.

nite folks; plain and simple.  If a lady can't get motivated in the morning to see me, then I will try to schedule her in the afternoon or evening or not see her at all.

Case in point--most areas have a Walgreens and a CVS close by.  If the Walgreens is open 24/7 and the CVS is open 8am till 8pm and I need something at 3 am, then I will go to Walgreens.  If I need whatever at 2 pm, then I will go to the store that is most convenient.
