I too am self employed, and I had no problems getting verified. FWIW I would be much less concerned with P 411 having my personal info than I would having to give a whole bunch of potentially BSC providers the very same info. One thing about P 411, they won't go crazy or vindictive on you some day if they don't get a 10/10 review, the same cannot be said about many hookers out there.

I would suggest you call them and simply express your concerns and try to work a way that they can be satisified that they have done their job to protect the providers that use them for verification, and make you comfortable at the same time.

I am self employed Home Builder they are requiring a copy of my DL
along with my company info , I understand the screening process, I am just concerned about my info getting into the wrong hands.
Any help or similar situations please post it up.

The good thing about P411 is you can call their 800# and talk to a real person.  I know from experience they will offer you alternative ways to provide screening info.  Re the DL, I think they'll permit you to black out the part with your address, but call them and see.  I know they don't require job info because I was not able to provide that and they settled for other info

P411 is fantastic customer service with real live English speaking humans!.
They are also very, very good about protecting your privacy...

It's not like US authorities are going to raid their offices and consficate their records.

I'm taking this on faith, but P411 says they destroy the information you send them once you've been verified.  But even if they don't, I've never heard of anyone's info being compromised there.  If that happened, P411 would destroy its reputation and its business.
Date-Check is good, too, but last I heard you can't talk to anyone there, which makes it hard for people who can't provide employment into to get started there.  If that's changed, I'd like someone to clarify that.

Once you are verified, your ID is now your new identity as far as that site is concerned. They have no reason to keep your info.

You can't hide from the Internet.  All our info is already there anyway...FB, Twitter, etc.  Unless you live in a cave all your info is out there.

We're not talking about the fucking Internet here, but P411.  I guess he had to make one more statement of the obvious.  What a dumbass.

I signed up with Date-Check about a month ago.  I'm self employed and the only person in my company.  I explained that  on their form and gave the company info and phone number.  A woman from DC called (actually tried a couple times, we had a time zone mix-up with business hours) to verify me.  Was a quick 2 second call and everything went through easy.  It might have helped too that my company has a good internet presence for about a decade now.  I assume that made it easier for them to check me out.
