question about time for services

Ok I’m Newbee to this and had a question about time for services.

I called a provider that had good reviews on here(who will remain anonymous) to see about scheduling time and we made a date.  Her add said half hour and hour rates and I wanted an hour, however I did not specify one hour.  I arrived and we quickly moved to the bedroom and I proceeded to tell her I was new to this experience and she said well the donation needs to taken care of first so I placed an envelope on the night stand in plain view and we got busy, we did our thing and then we got dressed chatted a little maybe 5 minutes as we got dressed.  Then we hugged and said good by, on my way to the car I looked at my phone to see what time it was and I was surprised because only a half hour had gone by.

--So my question is should that have been a ½ donation or an hour donation.
--Was this my fault for being a Newbee and letting her get one over on me.  I don’t want to be a clock watcher 5, 10 15 minutes either way would not bother me.

Thanks for helping a Newbee

You did not discuss time with her and id diesn't sound like she rushed you out - so she did not in any way 'get over on you'.

It sounds as if you left after you felt you were done - so my question is, up until the moment you looked at your watch and saw how long you'd been there, were you happy with the experience? It sounds like you were.

Do you think she should have held you there for the full hour? ;)

Remember - experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted. Your first experience sounds like it was pretty good - you should hear some of the horror stories out there from newbies.

You paid for an hour and you are certainly entitled to it.  That being said, if you did the deed, got dressed and left it's on you. A second pop may have been available or, at the very least, some extended "getting to know you" time. OTOH, some guys pay for the full hour and never use it.  Don't count on the lady to force you to stay.

As far as clock watching goes I think that is a very abused term here on TER. Everyone involved on either side of the hobby has every right to know where they stand during the course of an appointment.  The lady has a schedule of appointments and needs to keep things moving along and you have an obligation to yourself to make sure you get your money's worth.

which seems to go off automatically - after 1 hour... If I go beyond 1 hour it tends to not work as well - that is I don't seem to know when 2, 3 or 4 hours are up, and the lady needs to remind me... but often I've gotten up, told the lady I need to go, and she stares at me and wonders why.... then I point out that my time is over...  There are times when the chem is not there... and I am ready in a few minutes... but those times are few and far in between... but they exist.  and on those occasions, I simple leave .... Do I feel cheated? nope... but it is a matter of learning to 'pace yourself' and you should acquire that with a bit of practice...

oh, believe me, with the right lady - I want to stay.... but I am also aware that somewhere in the lobby, there is a dude... and he is waiting for the 2nd phone call....

Do you wear a watch, so you can easily see the time?

Set an alarm on your watch/phone/etc?

Set your watch on the nightstand and check it?

Bring a timer (egg or otherwise) to race against?

I hate wearing watches outside of an appointment, but have tried them during some appointments to help guage time.

I like the rooms that have clock-radios or something with a clock that is easily visible.

If I am going for an hour appointment, I pace myself... seems there is a pattern to my behavior... and IF I am thrown off by the lady, then it kinda does not go well... by my estimate....  about 5 min of "hi, how are ya... etc."  then about 10 min of groping, clothes coming off, getting the bed ready...etc.

Then approxiamately 15 min of serious foreplay - DATY, fondling... etc... Then about 15-20 min of "positions" with an additional 5 min of readjustment.... lol!! And finally some cuddles.. and we are already at 45 to 50 min of time gone... an additional 5-10 min for getting dressed... and good-bye... heck in an hour session... there really isn't much time for anything else...

Now Multiple hour appointments... just gives more freedom... and if you squeeze a dinner in there... well - you improvise...  once with a lady we had session one... and I had budgeted a multihour extravaganza... we then went "out" to a club.. had drinks and stayed longer at that than I knew... by this time we had chewed through most of our session...  We get back to her hotel room... I am ready for round 2--- and she shows me the door...!!!!lol!!! man was I pissed BUT on retrospection - it was entirely my fault... while we were out clubbin  - i was having such a good time I lost track of time....

note to self... keep track of time... with multi hour sessions...

Once you're in the door it's up to you to let her know your expectations. Sounds like she may not have peeked in the envelope, and for all she knew you just left enough for 30 minutes> Or, if she did know you left enough for 60 minutes, thought you had personal reasons for leaving sooner.

With that said, many providers would have invited you to stay longer.  Nonetheless, you should be aware that providers are not just sitting around hoping you call.  If you don't specifically reserve time, it may not be there for you.

It is quite possible she used this against you thinking that you don't know all the things that is done in the hobby.

Like half hour appointments tend to be only one cup of coffee while one hour tends to lead to two cups visit.

I onced booked for two hours with someone who I had never seen before and once I came in the first half hour; she had me dressing up to leave the door. I showed her the envelope and I let her know it.

In the end, I paid only for an hour but stayed for 90 minutes yet I still left a tip. In her eyes, you leaving only after a half hour meant she got a big tip from you.

Perhaps email the girl or call her to understand more.. we weren't in the room -

Why ask a bunch of strangers when you can ask her yourself -

If you book an hour then you leave after 30 minutes you still have to pay the full hour as it is what you book not how long you stay.

You said- "Her ad said half hour and hour rates and I wanted an hour, HOWEVER I DID NOT SPECIFY ONE HOUR.  I arrived and we quickly moved to the bedroom..."

You told the lady you were a newbie, moved quickly into the active part of the session, and it does not sound like she LOOKED in the envelope to see the actual donation amount!  It's very probable that since you are new to this, she thought you had decided on the introductory half hour session, to "get your feet wet," so to speak!

Next time, clarify the time you are sceduling for when you talk to her on the phone... then there will be mo room for confusion. ;)

Hope that helps,

Cindy

PS.  I've had the exact opposite happen... the gentleman stays for a longer time (at my encouragment) because I misunderstood how long we were sceduling for...

It doesn't sound like she really rushed you out of there, it sounds like you left on your own.  You paid for an hour with the intent of being there for an hour and left early.

This happens to providers more than you can imagine, she probably just figured you finished sooner than you thought you would and left.  Since you didn't specify an hour this one is on you.  Beginners mistake, we all make them.  Live and learn.  Next time make sure to specify your appt time and if you want to use all of the time do it - you DID pay for it.

Dude , It's your cash that is being spent. How are you going to tell time if you don't watch the clock?

as far as booking:  I assume everyone is booking an hour unless they specify the half hour.

As far as time spent:  you book an hour you pay for the hour.  We don't have another client's work waiting for us on our desk to turn to in the event that you leave early.  We would charge by 6 minute increments if that were the case :)  Okay, bad attorney joke.

If I can further suggest, don't look at this as someone getting one over on you - that's a harsh statement,  Providers aren't adversaries in general. Please remember that YOU are responsible for your time and for engaging - getting what you want out of an appt.  SHE is responsible for delivering as promised in the time you spend together.

i guarantee the provider knows what time it is lol.  but as a provider, i get fellows who hop up well before the hour is up and some that stay over a little more.  i dont punch a time clock.  thank god for being a low volume provider.    if u had a good time honey, call it a winner.  i doubt the gal was trying to get over on u.  most providers AND hobbyists just wanna do the hobby and have a decent exchange between two human beings.  there really isnt that much cloak and daggar to it as a whole lot of folks would have u believe.  heck.  maybe because i'm 47 so some of my clients are old too and i have one client who cant 'do' anything, his equipment doesnt function, but he loves to touch me, smell me and just kinda lounge around naked with a pretty gal and feel like a man.  or i have really bad BO and fellows jump up early to get away from me and my old gentleman cant get excited to see me.   lol
