Question about "reviews" policy

I recently saw a lady who prefers to be "under theh radar" and does not have a website.  She desires initial contact via email and after checking references will provide phone contact info.  However, I've been informed that a website is mandatory for reviews to be approved.  Now she was previously with an agency and has reviews, but obviously the her contact information is incorrect.

Any feedback?

If her reviews still list her as at agency website and number, you should send in a correction by using the Report a problem button on her profile. Just state that information is no longer valid.

As for a new review, if she wants to be "under the radar" perhaps she does not want any new reviews posted. You should check with her, and if so, respect her wishes by not posting a review.

that request. If she were B&S or otherwise a Rip-Off you'd want to out her, but otherwise I wouldn't write a review on any provider who didn't want one. Sometimes when a lady goes from an agency to independent there can be retaliation by unscrupulous  agency owners (many are great and don't cause issues) where her safety could be at stake. It's her choice.

Indeed I asked her if she wanted a review and she thought since we had such a great time and that it'd been awhile since she had a review, that she would appreciate one from me.  However, her desire is that all initial contact be via email only.   I apologize for failing to clarify this in my intial inquiry.  Thanks

I've done reviews without phone numbers. Just put in all 0's for the phone number and if an admin rejects it, notify them of her desire to remain private. I don't think it'll be a problem.

Not sure how to get around the website requirement other than contacting the admin and letting them know about this restriction too. I've had a number of reviews initially rejected for bad websites but I was always able to find a good link eventually.

6. A phone number isn't required for posting. If the provider doesn't wish to give out her phone number, please respect her decision. Type 555-555-1212 in the phone number field instead of a real number.

That's all you have to do if she doesn't want her phone number posted.

the simple fact she doesn't have a website that has resulted in the "denied" review.

This is an internet based, interactive site. I personally would not like a review without a site to link to.  That being said, I can see no reason why you cannot do a mini-review about a great provider on your regional discussion board.  You can even put in an e-mail for others to contact her.  My 2 cents

With me, they list my number as (555)555-5555 or some such b.s. Either way, I contact via email only and it's not been a problem for people posting reviews of me obviously.

Nope, but a TER peer PMed me recently [under my reviewing name] to recommend a provider, and as coincidence would have it, it's someone i've known since 1989.  She's so UTR she won't even hook up her computer.  But, despite this, and despite the fact that the lady's only advertising is a small print ad in NY Magazine, he did manage to post a review of her.

Go figure.

A listing on Cityvibe or Eros will work as will a listing on CL.
There are no exceptions however. If you can not post some sort of link to her the review will not be accepted.
