Question about Forums

The internet has just about everything you could ever think of, and when it comes to forums, TER is the best for this arena, and I can recommend the best Vegetarian, and the best cooking, etc. as we all have our various interests, and sites pertaining to them.

But, what about Forums that would pertain to job loss and life transitioning? With all the people across the country who have lost/and will lose their white collar livelihoods, and who have done nothing else but their particular profession for years, do any of you know any websites for that type of life change?

My one sister's husband has been unemployed for over a year, and they may have to sell and move, but then what? There are more people moving OUT of CA, I am told, than ever before in CA history (so I've heard). And of course, it's not just CA.

If you know of any website, any particular forum, or publication that you can recommend, I'd love to be able to pass it along, as this comes up often enough anyway, to want to be informed.

Thanks.

Hi Sedona.Great to see you posting again.

Too bad about your bro-in-law.Monster.com is excellent not only from the job posting resources but also offers career advice as well as discussion forums. There was one the other day about selling a home on your own.
