Question about emails

I've been seeing one lady for several years, and we seem to get along well.

After our sessions I send a thank you email saying how much I enjoyed our time together. At first she replied with simple things like, I had a good too.

At some point this summer she stopped replying to these messages, and I don't hear from her until the next time I spend an appointment request.

I think saying "doesn't 500 an hour include a reply?" would be a little harsh and probably destroy the situation.

What is the polite way to respond when someone ignores messages?

Thanks for any help and all the other answers you have given.

that they are buried in email.

I guess she is not so gently hinting that she is not an email type of person.

I agree that it would behoove her to be one, especially with an establish client; but you should not take it seriously.  It's not about you, it's about her and what she wants and expects.

Some gals, on the other hand, bombard me with emails which I generally like, but some take it way too far.

is to take the hint and say nothing.

Then I don't reschedule. If a lady is either disorganized or thoughtless enough that she won't take 30 seconds to reply to a thank you note, then she's not my type no matter how good the session was.

Early on, I didn't follow this and there seems to be a high correlation between flakiness and the inability/unwillingness to respond to emails like this. I'm not talking about her not replying to chit-chat emails from lonely guys.

She is responding to the ones she needs to just not to polite Thank you chit-chat ones. I'm sure she would if she had the time. Cut her a break, you don't know how many emails she gets in a day.

i always send a respectful thank you. however i also understand that this is a business and the ladies who are more oriented toward efficient business practices will not reply. i have no problem with that.

i have more extensive correspondences with a very few ladies who have more than short term monetary goals in mind.

so the polite way to respond to no response is not at all.

the only time i get nervous about nonresponse is when an agreed pre appointment confirmation email is absent. that is much more serious IMO.

You should have established a rapport with her.  If she is no longer responding to interim e-mails, but still to appointment requests, maybe you should ask why next time you see her?

We are society buried in electronic communication. Email, text, twitter, blog, face book, my face your face, neighbors face, my dogs face, your dogs face, my horses ass, your horses ass, neighbors horses ass, my cat, your cat, stray cat, ..........

Communication should when needed, short, effective and communicative. You may be bored and have nothing to do that, doesn't mean everyone else is.

Truth be told, never send a text, don't belong in any social networking sites and haven't lost a single friendship and have time to read a good book. There is absolutely nothing I need to know about anyone they don't want to tell me on their own.

Living life free from drama, gossip, and useless BS.

As a society we do talk waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too much. Are we that insecure where we have to constantly talk.

I cannot get into all this electronic crap today either especially texts!!!

"Listen, I enjoy sending you those little emails thanking you.  Would you rather not get them?"

If you have seen her for several years how many times has this thank your or I had a great time been said? How many different ways can it BE said? Perhaps she has grown tired of the mundane replies of "yeah me too" and prefers to focus on all the other email and screening and everyday life she has to deal with.

Get over it. Keep seeing her, since she apparently has not grown tired of taking your money. She will tell you when you step over the line. I venture to guess you are getting close. *wink*

Still sending email after years of seeing this lady. Enough already, stop sending them. Thank her on the way out the freakin' door next time.  If it bothers you so much that you posted on the GD board, maybe it's time to move on and find another lady.

The majority of providers don't respond to off the clock e-mails.

Not you Pri. lol

I think the OP needs to go on an "estrogen free" diet.

Jeezus! Can't you leave this mangina shit alone? Are you that desperate to inflate that poor little ego?

Anyone who expects good manners is a mangina? Yeah, that's a good call there.

I can't speak for other providers, however, I can speak for myself.  If a gentleman just spent time with me sends a thank you, I do respond.  It only takes a few seconds and little things like this one can go a long way in our business or any business.

With the ladies I've seen, and some I will see. Don't necessarily think it's 'me' but more them. I just got lucky in conversing with ladies that like to converse. Email, phone, text, and PM.

I don't 'have' to talk with them everyday, but it's really nice to know they're thinking of me. Or my money/time. I'm not kidding myself. I know why they're here as well as me.

In any case, these are the ones I love seeing. They show me their attention cuz they know I'm gonna see them again, and again, and again. Paid, of course.

If you've really been seeing this provider for years like you say, then you don't have to keep sending her an e-mail everytime you see her.  I question what you're really putting in all those e-mails sending her now?

If yall have really been tight for this long, just give her a hug and  20.00 tip and say I'll call you in a few days when I'm ready to come see you again. That goes a long way.

A phone call every now and then may not hurt if you just wanna see how she's doing, but sounds like you're becoming a Bug-A boo.

At the end of the day this is her job. a dozen other guys spent 500.00 to spend the same hour with her you did. You're paying for the session, not a friendship.

I never send thank you emails but most than not the girls do send one.
