With all the different sites available does anyone actually click on them and use them lol?
Had my first one's made but don't know if it's worth using them

I never click on them. I don't even look to see what banners are there.

This is a really great question since they are so expensive.

Actually once you have your banner ad made up, you shouldn't incur any additional costs. There are a huge amount of adult sites that want to excange banners with other adult orientated sites. Pick sites that are providing similer services/products to what your offering. Even if you don't get any "clicks" from a site, your still promoting yourself.
I personally believe that you increase your legitamicy with a strong web presence . register your sight with a company like "hitslink.com" and you can get real time tracking results of where your traffic is comming from. I know of one independent provider in California who has been placing banner ads, as well as free site ads very heavily for about three years now. The result of all this Free ad placement has been that she now gets about 300 unique hits daily to her personal web site, is listed on about 85,000 web sites when you "google" her name, and has a phone the literally never stops ringing, even in todays economy !

Take a few minutes each day and expand your web presence, unless your really shy, it can't do anything but help your business in the long run.
