If I visit a "provider" who advertised under the heading Escort and charges $500 per hour, should I be disappointed if she only offers massage and a hj? I think it's pretty dishonest.

But you should be more disappointed in the fact that you didn't do your homework than anything.

Does it help to be disappointed?  Lesson learned is about the best I can offer.

That's not an "escort".

I agree with Curly. Yes her ad is probably misleading, but you should have known that from her reviews. And if you chose to see someone who has no reviews on TER or another respected review site then that’s on you. Research is the key to success in the hobby. For me it’s been years since I’ve seen an escort who didn’t have multiple reviews on TER. It’s not a perfect system, but thus far I’ve avoided robs, scams, and fbsm providers posing as escorts.

Exactly. Take some responsibility for thinking with the little head.

Actually, I disagree.  Being escort has nothing to do with sex.  In fact being Escort or running an Escort Agency is completely legal in the US.  Being an escort is about companionship.  The word is often also used a verb. For e.g. It was dark and raining outside, so I escorted my friend to her car.  Or.. After the inauguration the President and VP received Presidential Escort back to White House..  As long as she provided companionship, she's an Escort.

While paying for sex or running an agency that employs women who get paid to have sex is illegal.

All the OP should have done was more research.  That's it.

Because you didn't read reviews?
Because she only advertised on EROS?
Because you're complaining here without ID'ing or reviewing this bait and switch provider?

Life is full of disappointment. Including this provider.
Chalk it up to experience, submit an accurate review, and move on to another lovely woman who WILL put out as advertised.

A massage and HJ is hardly offering escort services either so while I agree that "escort" itself can be taken to mean pure companionship without any promise of sex, or even holding hands or a good night kiss, I don't think "escort" has ever been understood to mean massage with a happy ending.

I do think perhaps the guy should feel some disappointment but that would be shared between both the misleading advertising terminology and a possible failure to properly research the provider.

is to review her.  You will help others avoid your mistake and you might even get her to reform her advertising.  What name should be look for on your review?

As Johnny Lee sings, you my friend are looking for love in all the wrong places.  Dishonesty and deception is the part of this game even with good research.  But yes, 500 for a HJ is a bit over the top.  Chin up, move on to your next disappointment and review the B.  Every once in a while, you'll hit pay dirt.

"Appeal to History: a fallacy that argues actions, behaviors, and policies are acceptable because they have always been acceptable."

The game would only be cleaner and much more attractive for others to engage in, if stripped of dishonesty and deception. Literally the only people that would lose in such scenario are the ones doing the damn deception and dishonesty.

Hello, I’m just curious if indeed she’s FS, but
perhaps your appointment wasn’t long enough
to enjoy as such?

Perhaps you pointedly requested  a meeting for
FS,  however  indeed, she lured you in with said
expectations, but ultimately didn’t  offer FS?
Which is it, if I may inquire @Coachmyster ?

There’s meetings whereupon
in-the heat-of-the-moment,  foreplay can become
extended because you’re both in the throes of
oral ecstasy.
(Not necessarily a bad situation to be in!)

I enjoyed a Client whom is the best I’ve ever had!
Ecstasy was achieved sans FS, though always
“implied”.
Ymmv

If you’re truly desiring FS, a simple query  such as
“Do you have a cover?”,  signals a swift change in
the maneuvers to consummate your desire.
Communication is key!

Don’t forget that these scammers, unlike scammers that pretend to be operating in legal professions, have an added layer of security because this industry is legal, so victims have little to no legal recourse. It’s up to us to write reviews and look out for each other.

Wow, we actually agree on something?

I would even take it further one. It is also up to us to make sure the recourse for the scammers of our bros is so severe, they lose the willingness or ability to ever scam again. I'll happily do my part.

I feel your pain, when TER was down I seen a provider that didn’t deliver and a lot of providers don’t like TER, but that’s why TER is a good thing, any provider who charge 500.00 and do not make it clear she not full service needs to find another way to make a living, it’s really amazing how some providers could take a guy hard money and not give the client what he wants!
