trying to equalize an illegal act with another illegal act is moronic at best.

looks like someone fell asleep during the marketing sessions.

Don't be stupid like Herpius lol.  It is supposed to suggest that ripping off one person ( a hot ass woman no less that you can SEE), is no different than ripping off several you can't see.  Comparing one illegal act to another to PROMOTE, is stupid. Using that same tactic to STOP people from doing something is kind of funny, and as usual, sex sells. Will this stop some snot nosed kid from using limewire? I doubt it, but it's a good ad that is banned in the U.S. I presume?

I don't think it's a real ad.  I first saw it up on The Chive.  In my opinion, this is just a spoof of the other RIAA ads with the similar message.

But...the hooker angle made me laugh....so...thought I'd share for others to enjoy.

The majority of DL music is commercial nonsense, the people losing money are the label execs.

It isn't actually clearly making that suggestion. It is just talking about having sex for free. Sure. Why not. But it never really draws the parallel successfully to a point where I think you would assume it means you are making the choice to rip her off.

I can't tell if some of you are taking this way too seriously of if you're just really bad a sarcasm :D

It's a picture of a hot chick and a bad parody of the RIAA ads to stop music piracy.

Just look at the huge tits and enjoy.  Ignore the text.

Are you kidding? It flat out says she is a prostitute and asks, "would you have sex with her without paying?" Seems like a pretty obvious conclusion to me. "Downloading music without paying is like fkin a hooker for free." I'm not even drinking yet.

I would pay a provider her fee plus a tip and maybe even a "Steeltipped" (Gift)

However

I would fuck the RIAA so deeply in the ass and not leave a cent....

I am sure everyone thinks a record deal and being part of the RIAA protects them? Bull droppings!

I have been asked to sign 4 record contracts in my life and they all read like a mortgage.... Basically its this simple, The record company just gives you an "Advance" or a loan... if your record sales don't pay back the "Advance" you owe them more records until they can get their advance back... all the while you think you are making money, you are actually pay bills...

Read this, or atleast look at how an "Advance" is paid out and how much an artist can actually make...

IMHO This analogy is about as real as "This is your brain that looks like an egg in a cast iron frying pan"
