I'd rather open up one long review and scan it for details that are important to me, instead of opening up multiple short reviews that just talk about envelope/BJ/Mish/cleaned up. Feels like I'm seeing more of those than ever.

We pretty much all know the basics of an oil change. I want to know something about the provider/service.

Am I the only one who thinks TER reviews are way too long?
I read reviews to help decide on a provider, nice to have details.
I don't feel like investing more than a minute to do so.
Maybe I'm wrong, I'll shut up if I'm the only one, just saying...

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. lol

Yes, I fully agree, If I wanted to read "The sexcapades of old fat losers", well if I EVER find myself wanting to do that, I would hope one of my friends would put me out of my misery and "put me down" for my own good. lol

I rarely read a review more than a couple of paragraphs long in it's entirety and if the first paragraphs is more about the reviewer himself than the woman he is reviewing, I don't even get to the second paragraph.

lol...classic, right on man.  Stupid me losing track of E-mail, surprised this post got response it did.

And that's another reason TER should add a simple word search capability to the reviews. Looking for CIM or DFK in a Provider's reviews? Search them all at once instead of having to open them one at a time.
.
The Review Search form could have the same kind of search box as is found in the Forum Search system (all of these words, any of these words, exact phrase).

Is a lengthy review with no paragraph breaks. If I open the review and it's long, I'll read the first and last paragraph (if there are paragraphs in the juicy details. I will skim the rest of the review for acronyms like Dfk, bbbj, data, etc.

If the review is lengthy with no paragraphs, I simply go to the next review of that provider.

A review with no punctuation whatsoever. Ok, maybe a period at the end. Sometimes these "sentences" are many lines long.

I'll take a one-paragraph review with punctuation any day over THAT mess.

No paragraph breaks, no punctuations and terrible grammar mistakes!

When I think it's called for, I write long, somewhat (I hope) literate reviews. They contain all the requisite details, but they're not meant to be an abstract for a search engine. I'm in the minority (?) who see the experiences with these lovely ladies as something more than a list of positions and a menu checklist, so I write how it felt as well as what we did.

Besides, you can get checklist information already with the advanced search function. If you're not into reading reviews, just use that, then look at pictures and price to decide. But I think you're missing out if you do your "shopping" that way.

Yes, X-ray, it seems that we are in the minority in writing considered reviews of providers that we see as actual people, rather than a collection of parts and warm holes for our sole amusement.

When writing a review, I'm writing it to convey sense of who she is and how we interacted; how the entire experience went so that another potential client can get a sense of how they might get along.

If the guys who are scanning reviews looking for a quick list of box-check items don't like my review? Well, I'm not writing it for them, so I don't much care whether they like it or not. They can take it or leave it.

I've been in the wine biz for 10 years now and have some related experience in review systems. Wine reviews typically have a numerical score (based on 100 points being the best) and many wine reviewers use this system. Typically, a written review accompanies the score and the details of sensory impressions and reasons for enjoying (or not) are given, so that a potential wine customer can get a sense of how they might like the wine (or not).

There are an awful lot of wine consumers who do nothing more than look at the review number, the price and then grab a random bottle. I'm not too surprised when they are either disappointed or don't know enough to intelligently appreciate the product. All I can do is make my recommendation and provide information with context -- the rest is up to them.

and gave up on it.. way way too long.. I just tried to find it again and could not.. It went on and on and on..

...my ADD kicks in and I stop reading.

It can be difficult to find that balance between great details and excessive BS that drags a review out and sometimes makes it unreadable. The worst ones have to be the 1000+ word ones without any paragraphs. Ugh.

Thank you, yes, that's why I can't stand them.  My ADHD.  Doesn't kick in, it's always there, attention span goes tick tick tick tick....BOOM!!!  Pretty sure ADHD has similar characteristics to ADD

Reviews I think some men really enjoy writing them. It gets away form them and turns into a novel. Write it however your little heart desires.

The ads off providers sometimes are too long. Plus many will copy and paste the same LONG ad. Short and simple with the easy facts is perfect for me. They can always go to my website to learn a little more.

... I skip those. The last thing I want to read is a Porn story starring the reviewer.

Nah, I'm just the co-star!

6500 keystrokes in the Juicy Details section of a review.  My reviews run from 4000 to 5500.  Some may consider them lengthy, but I use no more nor no less than required to say what I want to say, just like in my posts here.  Some are longer, some are shorter.  It depends on how many points you want to make in a post or a review.

Most reviews are just about the sex:  Insert tab A in Slot B, etc.  Most of us older guys want girls with personality that we can be playful with by having some witty banter, and still have our dick leave happy at the end of the session.  It takes more words to describe personality than it does to go through the sex positions. Those kinds of reviews that just regurgitate the sex activities are worthless to most, IMO, and the guys that write those should just save a generic one to their clipboard and then cut and paste it with a new name when they do a review. Some probably already are.  OTOH, if you say what you did, and then tell us how the girl reacted to it, it shows a little of her personality and perhaps a heads-up about what she likes that will make the session better for both of you,  its more valuable information, IMO,  but necessarily makes the review longer.

Agree with the Lion.  If you don't want to read the details then don't.  Better to have more detail to help those who want to get a better sense of the provider.  Don't like the long reviews then don't read mine :)

and like to show how enjoyable she makes my time with her. I love a woman with a great prsonality and think it plays a big part in the overall experience.

bluh blah bluh blah bluh blah, lol....
just kidding man, right on, I get you.
My issue with the details section (where provider lists services provided): a) they aren't always true; b) my favorite service (facial) isn't really listed (it is kind of under service CIM, just it's not a single isolate service I can zoom in on); c) other services I care about often list, "I don't know" for them.  So in that instance, I can either read the reviews, or ask the provider directly on the phone when scheduling (not advised)

It sounds like Lexi thinks you need to be "punished."  Try to at least ACT contrite like you're not enjoying it. Lol

..........  very true. I wouldn't dare let her know how much enjoyment a good spanking is.

A well-written long review is very useful in my circumstance.  As a New Yorker, there are dozens of providers available in any given price range with comparable ratings and things they are willing to do (there were 37 ads posted yesterday, as an example).  The detailed reviews - the ones that are about the provider (and have paragraphs, yes) - are invaluable because they give me another window through which I can look to choose someone.  A really good writer can capture a lot in a few words, so I'll never just click out of a short review.  For me, the 60-second "Sexual Mad-Libs" are of limited use.

Of course most of us are not writers, and so our tales tend to not be crisp or focused on the provider.  So there are plenty of long reviews that are not useful either.

But read Waltstonia's review of Veronica Jackson (linked below) and tell me that it's not worth the few minutes.  Or read a few of CDL's and see if that helps you narrow down on the phone book full of West Coast/Sin City K-girls

If you have very few choices, or you only care about the things she will or will not do, then by all means, skip or skim the long reviews.

It's just one more review, not a lot different from the thousands I have read.

so NO, it was NOT worth the time I took to read it.

was when he said he, "took one of her taut breasts into his mouth and then the other."  Since she has 30" A-cups, he should have clarified if he was taking them both in his mouth consecutively or together, because with tits that small, either is possible.  Just a minor observation on an otherwise nice review.

Wonder what happens if you push the button in the middle of her chest?  Not mentioned in the review.

I did read it as promised, I just didn't pay that much attention to any of the details as I found them rather boring, just like the "juicy details" of most reviews of it's type.

If it is a well-reviewed girl who does short sessions, who seems to do the same things with everyone then I just write down all the right things and make sure to include a few extra details that I might think are unique to me or the situation.

If it is a new gal or someone rarely reviewed, then I will provide more and answer the questions I was asking myself before I made the appointment.  HECK, they wouldn't be JUICY details without any juice in them.  To me a well written pithy and concise review tells me a lot about the type of session and the clientele more than it tells me about the gal (and that is okay too)

If the encounter goes as expected, then I can wrap up the juicy details in about 2 paragraphs, or so. But if I encounter anything unexpected whether good or bad, then I'm going to give details based on my experience if I think it's interesting enough to be worth mentioning, and if I think it's going to help her future clients make a more informed decision, which is what I expect in return when searching for a new provider. It might be time consuming, perhaps even painstaking, but I would rather sit and read through all the juicy details in preparation for my next encounter so I won't get caught with any bad surprises. Ultimately, the length the review is based on the amount of details, and the length of each detail is based on the very nature of the detail.

So yes they can become too long.  As to what a girl will or won't do, the most true thing in this hobby is YMMV.  Mostly verifying that they look somewhat like their photos, perhaps nice, peripheral things more than a list of items.
I don't need to know that you cuddled, and talked about her wonderful career outside of the hobby.  BUT if you wanna write it, by all means go ahead

And you're right, they are WAY too long.  If I hadn't written them, I would never read them.  From now on: brevity.

Excellent point and all I can say is "mea culpa". I've already decided that I'm limiting reviews to providers I've seen at least three times and thanks to you, I'm going to keep it brief.

One thing I've noticed is that as hobbyists, we do a disservice to each other by being way too forgiving when answering the questions "are the photos real?" and "does provider look like the photos" which I think has caused a proliferation of fake, over-photo shopped and ancient pictures being used by providers.  In instances where I meet a provider for the first time and notice right away that something is amiss have still been very beautiful sexy women who have been a pleasure to spend time with.

Thanks man, good food for thought, I'll keep that in mind myself.  You're right, it is common practice to have models looking very different from their ad photo.  I'll do my little part to buck the trend thanks to you.

I'd rather open up one long review and scan it for details that are important to me, instead of opening up multiple short reviews that just talk about envelope/BJ/Mish/cleaned up. Feels like I'm seeing more of those than ever.

"we pretty much all know..."

OK, guilty, I'm ignorant I guess.  Will she rim me, take facial, bbbj, deepthroat...
Yes, many such services are listed on the ad.  If you read those details and automatically expect that service, then I don't know what to tell you, other than that's not what I've noticed.

If someone is going to review a provider in a short paragraph or two I hope they can at least spell.

The idea of any date is almost the same for most of us.

We kissed.  We stripped, We sucked and licked.  We fucked. We fucked some more. We kissed and cleaned up.
We parted ways.

D.

When I read a review, I don't want to read a list of what was done to a provider.  I want to read what the provider and client did together, how she responded and if there could be a chemistry match between me and the provider.  That takes more than a brief paragraph, but less than a sex version of War and Peace.  And remember guys, the review is about the provider, a human being.  We're reading the review to decide if we want to connect with her, not you.
