Considering some of the recent discussions on TER concerning cultural diversity, and relationship/morality confusion, I thought the list members here would be amused (entertained?) to read the responses I received to a recent post to one of my professional discussion groups.  This new thread I posted (Bartering professional services) was actually prompted in part by two threads on this professional forum discussing how pharmaceutical drug reps are "routinely" sleeping with doctors to get those doctors to prescribe the drugs being marketed.
Since I worked nights and had some spare time between patients, I decided this time to abuse my professional colleagues with my psychotic delusions rather than the TER board who have all been INFINITELY patient and courteous in response to my mutterings!!

I like you rthinking 155. I think few people would be willing to be on a list though. Bartering is illegal per the IRS unless you declare what you receive as income. Add to that fact that
prostitution is illegal in most places and what 3b2 mentioned and you have a load of problems with this idea.

I'm not pessimistic 155. I think maybe you need to take a step back and think about this. Just like the guy who thinks he found a cure to his anxiety by using heroin you may have used a reward system for your weight loss that is now using you.
Alcoholc and drugs gradually affect people's thinking so that they don't realize how crazy they have become over time.
I think you need to seriously consider that you aren't thinking straight.
