If you are typically in un-moderated status, you might occasionally (10-15% times) encounter an issue with posting your messages wherein your posts will not appear right away and you will get a message saying that it will be approved shortly.

Its actually a glitch with the software, and the easiest way to fix it to navigate to your post under My TER -> My Message Boards, then locate the post, and click on it. Hit EDIT button and then submit the post.

The post should appear right away after resubmission.

I figured it out immediately and have been editing it immediately, but it's a pain in the ass & needs to be fixed within the system.

More people should write to Admin about it!  There's no reason it shouldn't be fixed ASAP.

But there is also a crapload of other shit that needs to be fixed that they haven't fixed either! So what's new?
I was just messing with Curly and London. I know hardly anyone reads S&P anyway.
Plus Curly did that to me on a post where I thought I discovered something new and announced it, and he said, "It's been like that for months!"
:D

Are gone...and the rest just are boring as hell.

My guess as to why this problem hasn't been fixed yet is that TER has been too busy on all the moderated posters and brown envelopes that have been invading the boards the past few months.

That's a full time and a half job just trying to keep up with all of that nonsense  LOL

Maybe time for TER to offer up that "unmoderate me please" like they did a year ago which allowed all those seriously deranged banned folks back on here.

Then things can really be self-moderated again  :D

Seems like it has always been just someone posting a stupid suggestion, and then several folks telling him how stupid it is!

Then every once in a while someone will actually post a good suggestion.

As well as some others...yep

Now it's just and has been babble worse than a mute hookers convention  :D

Are you thinking of the P&R board, because I know they posted there a lot. but this topic was about the S&P board. I don't recall them posting much on the S&P board, and a search going back 3000 days just confirmed my recollection. (GaG's got like 23 posts and nick has about 6). (Then again, I didn't check for alias posts)

I'm surprised there were as many as six there, ps!  I hardly ever went there.  Since Gambler was a mod there was no reason for him to post there.  CPA must've had one too many Martinis at lunch!

You actually started with something like "I never come to this board but" (paraphrasing as I'm too lazy to find it and get the exact quote) and that post was about the instant editing feature, which is kind of funny because that ties back to this very thread!

LMAO at the martini comment.

And playing with the troll threads.  Those days were much more numerous a year ago.

And I don't drink my martinis at lunch.  Usually like to reserve those for dinner dates  :D

I'm also keeping a close eye on the "Fiscal Cliff" to see what I've got to do with clients.  My favorite was back in 1982 when the geniuses revoked the passive losses retroactively.  That was fun  :D

But guys like you and GaG don't give a shit about that...you're probably controlling the House and Senate!

But thanks for looking up the posting history of those two.

When it comes up in TER Hooker Jeopardy I'll make sure to note that perfectstorm is credited with the answer  LOL
