I suspect that it's not always an expense thing though. I'm guessing sometimes she just prefers to play on her own home field and the extra charge for outcall makes an away game worth while.

in regards to preference of a home playing field. I used to charge more for outcalls until I raised my rates. Now both incall and outcall are the same. I think some ladies charge more for any anxiety they may feel in regards to potential LE encounters.

When I talk about rules (you say power) I prefer to deal with decent level headed people who understand fundamental basics.
Hooker places ad, charges x and delivers abc. John has x amount to spend and is looking for abc. John arrives and want d but hooker holds firm on her "rules".
Hooker wants x fee and john thinks x is fair and meets hooker. Hooker does not look like her images and john leaves, his rules.
I do not consider this a major power play whereas some people do on both sides to see who can get more for less. That is where I believe this power struggle comes in and the knee jerk reactions from both side declaring ultimate power.

For outcalls but I also don't give discounts for them either. If I was going a long distance though I might require a longer appointment or add a bit extra for the extended travel time.
and of course it takes gas money, and sometimes it costs to park too. Also, I don't like outcalls fora variety of reasons, so the (slightly) higher rate encourages incalls
If I did outcalls (which I don't) I too would charge extra to deter a guy from booking one, and being more inclined to do an incall. I hate having to get all dressed, hop in my car, drive there, park (valet) whatever, find your damn room, get undressed, do the deed, get dressed AGAIN, valet again, and drive home. Not to mention most guys have zero clue about how to set a romantic scene in a one room shit hole of a hotel.
Not to sound like a princess, but if I am seeing a guy for an extended amount of time, it won't be in only one room...it will be a private incall where we can actually move around and feel comfortable. There are far too many things providers have to lug over to your location to not charge more. Add to that, she is walking out of the hotel with a wad of cash (possibly at night alone). No thanks. The more hassle a date is, the more I would charge for it. Ask me how much for a 10 min. bj bwahahhahaa.

my clients since their willingness or desire to provide outcall ultimately benefits me. I'd never charge more for that, even when I have to spend money on a taxi. Overall, it's a lot less of a hassle and money than having to book an incall and enough guys to cover the cost of the hotel room. I like to see no more than one guy a week, let alone a day to cover a hotel, so I'm grateful to outcall guys, and don't charge them extra for that...
Even the ones who come in from out of town, still prefer to come to me because I have a driver service that takes care of them. The hotel room the company rents for them has dozens of other associates at that same location, so a chick sneaking in and out, would raise some questions.
and only see clients who are ok with that request. I have local and out of town clients, and they make it work. And maybe I have lost some clients who aren't ok with that, but it's ok with me. There are some guys who prefer to visit someone with an incall and they just don't visit me. cool.

provider I do offer incall on a few rare occasions my rates are the same regardless if outcall or if I am hosting.The only time I would charge more for outcall is if I was driving a long distance.
Every lady is different for some of the providers who charge more for outcall maybe that additional rate is for gas,taxi(if she doesn't own a car),or just because that is what she decided to do,or more comfortable doing incall versus outcalls
I am happy to offer discounts to respected members of the TER community. Less drive for me the better.
