Just checked the CDC site, which confirms that 50% of all sexually active Americans have been exposed to the HPV virus.  I can only imagine what the percentage of people on TER would be.  Regardless, for anyone who's been exposed, the vaccine is useless.

I guess we're all screwed.  OTOH, like every medical study, this one will probably be refuted next week.

It is old news. If anyone is worried then get the HPV Vaccine. HPV is mostly associated with Cervical Cancer in women. According to another article I have read a while back, claims that HPV could also be transmitted by kissing!!!!

Link included for the CDC info on Human Papillomavirus (HPV); check the vaccine section.

I am well aware of the vaccine, but it's of no use to most women, who have been exposed to the  virus for many years.  A very large percentage of women above the age of 25 already are infected.  That's why the  CDC recommends having girls get the HPV vaccination in  their early  teens, before they become sexually active.  So I wouldn't dismiss this as "old news."  As I said,  I'm skeptical because a link hasn't been definitively proven and because such initial studies are often wrong.  I posted it because I thought it  would be of interest despite this.

Agreed.  HPV notwithstanding, I plan to slurp and lick my way into oblivion.  Besides, as noted above, most of us -- both providers and clients -- have already been  exposed, so that bridge has already been burned.
