Providers that do not advertise?

So there's this masseuse that I am aware of who used to advertise in the back of the local free weekly many, many years ago.  I haven't seen any ads from her in years, but she still seems to do the odd massage whenever she's around.  This seems odd to me, but I wonder: is this the goal? Do most of you providers work towards being in a position where you can stop advertising all together and only see regulars when you feel like it?

I would have thought that the lower rate of activity would prevent someone from making a living at this. Can you make a living on regulars alone?

It is kind of cool that she's under the radar like that.  Gotta make it unlikely for her to get caught up in a bad situation...

I work full time and am a mom to an active young lady. If one were to look at my review activity, one would figure that I just dropped off the face of the earth. But actually the opposite happened. I got a promotion January of '08 which made me less available for escorting. This was around the time where ladies in my town went from $250-300 to $150-200 to adjust to the loss of jobs ( the company I work for dropped almost 1,000 people in Dallas alone.) I didn't follow this trend since my rates were already reasonable. I raised my rates but also added more time. That was how I stood out and I got the best clients of my escorting career. They got what I was trying to do, and those seeking the type of companionship I offer sought me out. I haven't had to really advertise since then.

It's not that I don't want to meet with new friends, cause I really like getting to know new people; it's more or less I'm in my comfort zone right now. Most of my dates are longer than dinner dates to weekend-long sexcusions, which come second to my work and parenting schedules. Though I do just fine as an escort, my real job kicks this in the ass. I pride myself in keeping the normalcy that I have. It has, by no means come easy, but I think it was just destined for me. It does make it easy to not be so inclined to accept a situation that is not comfortable to me. And if I have to ask more than once to be screened, the conversation is over.

Well, I hope this answers your question, at least from my point of view.

I'm thinking about my first and original ATF.  She's not completely UTR and is listed on P411 but does not advertise.  She has a newsletter she sends to screened clients re her schedule and gets reviewed here and on another site.  Every review is a rave because she's a gorgeous, ravenous, athletic, total nympho.  She is almost always completely booked.

Maybe she has a full time job, maybe she does it for mad money, so she can go on shopping sprees at the mall, maybe she moved away for awhile. Worry about your own biz, and stop trying to figure why escorts do things the way they do,  is futile.  And if you really want all your questions answered, why don't you just ask her.

From my opinion..   i have been in this profession off and on since 2002..  its helped me pay bills, pay off my car note in 2008 to 2009, and now is paying for my college degree while i work at a nationally known store .

When a TER member wanted to know why i didnt have reviews on TER? i told him becoz i am a  UTR provider and that i havent met anyone on TER yet..   most of the guys i have screened from this site proved to have bad reviews from other providers.

Maybe your masseuse is running low right now.. for what ever reason why dont you just ask her ?

and yes i have made a living thru my regulars too ..
