Provider is going "Baby Crazy"

Went to visit a lady I've been seeing maybe 4-6 times a year for a couple of years.  We're chatting afterwards and she says she  started noticing pregnant women.  They're suddenly everywhere, she says, loads of them, all the time.  She never took note of them before, but WHOOSH, all of a sudden everyone on the street, in the store, is pregnant.  She wanted my opinion about what I think it means.  I was at a loss to explain it, after all, I'm a guy.  I said something about maybe subconsciously she wants a baby, biological clock, typical guy stuff.  She's 30.

Later I started thinking.  Fundamentally, what we're all doing in this hobby is perpetuating the species - something deeply imbedded in our DNA, beyond conscious thought. And I started wondering -- providers are constantly having sex, probably LOTS of sex with lots of men.  The sex must evoke some sort of hormonal response, subtle perhaps, and even some changes in brain chemistry.  I'm speculating here.  So now I'm wondering about what my provider friend was saying...

Providers are having lots and lots of sex, but nothing happens. Physiologically, she's procreating, a lot more than an average woman.  Is it possible that this could mess up a lady's head after a while?  After all, the urge to merge is something so primal it's beyond conscious thought.  Maybe my friend's noticing pregos is more than just the hackneyed biological clock?

Not being a woman, I'm venturing into dangerous territory, but...I have been told that many women, and indeed women who've never particularly liked or wanted children, suddenly find themselves consumed with baby lust when they reach their 30s.  So I suspect it's just her age, not her work.  And, for a number of first hand accounts of baby lust, check out The Biological Clock, a book about women, work and childbearing. Available on Amazon, etc.

Think maybe you're reading too much into the situation. Maternal instincts do exist for all women, provider or not. I don't believe that having alot more sex than the average woman necessarily changes or affects a woman's view of child-bearing or the physiological processes within her body. Guess I am saying that the urge to procreate is not directly related to the occupation. And seeing more pregos could depend on where one shops, etc,...lots of 25-35 year old women. A thought...do OB/GYNs have more children than the norm?

The father of a girl I dated in college was an OB/GYN.  My girlfriend had 5 siblings.  One of the wildest sexcapades of my youth was with this girl, when she was screaming at me "Put your baby in me!"   We broke up shortly thereafter when I realized she was serious.  Hey, maybe with her it's the old Nature vs. Nurture question.  I dunno.

P.S. My SO's GYN has four kids.

and so is the lady you mention. PG women ARE everywhere and i've noticed it, too.

It's very common to have a lot of pregnancies during war time and we do have another Baby Boom going on.

Shoot, wanted to say something else, but it gives away too much personal..

When I discovered he was wrong, about 4 months ago, I started seeing providers for the first time.  You do the math on all these women walking around preggers.  (My Daddy was right.  I'm so screwed...)

I guess if everyone thought like me it would be genocide but the baby/parenthood thing never appealed to me. I had the Doc do the "cut-cut snip-snip" many years ago. I can't imagine having to worry about a possible paternity suit every time I get naked with a woman.

I follow your line of thinking, but I object to the notion  that a provider is 'procreating.' She is "fucking" you, me, and anyone else that pays the freight. The notion that she may want kinds someday is a natural instinct in women, period. The real surprise to me is the number of pregnant providers who work right up to the 3rd trimester. Pregnant pussy can be "hot," but it is also a bit "tangy" if you know what I mean.

we need to have a talk about the properties of latex, my son.

I think your mind is still reeling from The Nettie Method. :)

And yes...your father was right, so please cease and desist.  Get off the babysitter, Joel.

Nettie Method which involved jungle music on an old fashioned radio as well as the fem-dom I think you're referring too.

You're one of those guys that say "How could Jason Bourne fall 4 flights onto a tile floor with only a dead body to land on and still get up and walk away? With barely a limp"  aren't you?!
