: TER General Board Discussion : Provider Board Access Question

To access the provider board, the page says this:
If you are a provider, have at least 3 or more TER reviews from established TER members, and would like to be part of this board, please e-mail [email protected] with your TER username and the TERID your TER reviews. Please put "Provider only board access" in the subject line.

I have 8 reviews and have sent in a request three seperate times, the most recent a few days ago and once again this is the response:

Due to your limited use of TER and the TER discussion boards your request for access to the Provider Only board has been denied.
Please continue to log into TER regularly and post on the boards as much as possible.

I know a few providers who are on the Provider board who were admitted immediately within their first few weeks of joining TER because they had three reviews. It had nothing to do with how much or how little they posted on the regular boards. So what am I doing wrong?

I log in regularlly, I have been a member for over a year but before I moved to Ohio, I didn't have any reviews since TER wasn't popular in Alabama.

I post on the boards occasonally - I read alot but I dont always have anything to contribute to the threads that hasn't already been said.

So what do I need to do? How many posts do I need? and if post count is an issue why isn't that mentioned on the page that tells providers they need to have at least three reviews?

They have written rules, and unwritten rules

and their rules are enforced arbitrarily it seems. We have heard stories like this before. It is the same thing on the Reviewers Only board. The rules say you need ten reiveiws, but several people have mentioned that they tried to get in after ten reveiws and were told that they don't have a "regular board posting history." Just keep posting on the boards and keep reapplying to get in.

Just because you don't have anything new to say doesn't mean you can't agree with someone else or emphasize one of their points.

I've noticed lots of posts here where the poster says nothing.

And yes, I have heard your same question about the PO Board from some other ladies who have the reviews but evidently not the required board presence.

Solution: every time MSHSEX posts, you post a reply.

You'll be at the top of the boards in no time and be whisked onto the PO Board.
