Pros
- Much more insight into a providers world
- Up to date info on changes
- More pictures especially not edited
- Outing violent and hurtful individuals to providers
Cons
- Feels like providers hate clients one day and love them the next day
- Girls gang up on clients or other providers over the stupidest things
- High-end expensive girls ask for donations for anything and everything
Many providers with social media are really bad at PR. Getting into squabbles or denigrating clients is really a bad idea from a business perspective. Let 'em wax on about quirky stuff ... that gives them an interesting character. But when they start throwing shade on other people, it really looks bad ... who wants to hang out with a scold.
Many women use SM very smartly and that greatly helps their biz. BUT...there does seem to be quite a bit of client/male bashing that goes on as well. Tons of complaining too, about minor infractions e.g. a dude not filling out her form properly or not completely. Is that really something to run to SM and complain about to the masses? Some of the gals are very jaded and they can't hide that on their SM. I avoid them like the plague.
Yes, SM can be used for VERY good things, as you state, like when girls need to share critical info about creeps and violent predators. But it can also be used to damage a girls own rep, and many times without the girl in question realizing it at the time. Twitter and other forms of SM really are a double edged sword in the hands of an amateur with little to no business acumen.
Good post.
fantasy experiences the ladies provide. For me Providers on SM provide a little too much reality and too many peeks behind the curtain. Its a turn-off, so even though TER went on hiatus, I just couldn't get interested in following social media posts put up by providers.
It's amazing how much sense you make when you're not talking about politics.
I have always thought that when it comes to pussy, we almost always agree. We are only polar opposites when it comes to politics, but I still cling to the hope that you will one day see the light. Lol
I'm waiting for the wool to be pulled from your eyes.
i agree social media has its major pros as fair as advertiaing but there can be alot of issue when it comes to clients liking there privacy which is totally understandable.
xoxo

I am actually very active on social media especially twitter.. I enjoy interacting with clients and getting to know everyone.
Twitter has been very good to me. I do not pay to advertise. I am not a high volume, or high end provider. I just lowered my rates, since I moved back to civilization. I am not sure why asking for donations is a con. I get money from kind people I have never met because they love my personality. I get gifts and appreciate all the donations. I am always grateful. Time is valuable & precious.
I ask for little presents all the time lol. I do it as little suggestions and they love bringing them to dates. It just makes everything more fun imo.
Some send me gift cards and stuff too. I think it’s sweet and cute that they appreciate being a part of our online entertainment world.
☺️
A large number of companions use it only as an ad venue: they post photos, availability, possibly duo or discounted offerings, and that's it. There's the other end of that spectrum as well, those who seemingly share every thought and experience which occur to them throught the day, every day.
Many, of course, are somewhere in the vast middle-ground.
The fighting amongst fellow providers? I think most, both clients and companions, will agree this has the potential to make everyone involved look less-than-professional to casual onlookers.
On the other hand, one lady told me that every time she's in a public Twitter squabble, her booking requests increase dramatically. Why? Because there are always going to be the White Knights rushing to assure her she's wonderful and can do no wrong, as well as those who want the "crazy bitch" believing she'll give a hotter time.
Some clients have told me they love seeing my touristy posts both Twitter as well as in my blog and newsletters. Others are uninterested in it but it doesn't bother them, while a few find it to be TMI. They don't want to know.
Do I sometimes give PSAs to clients about how to make things easier for both of us? Yes. Do some people take this as bitching? Of course they do.
To that I say, if you dislike what I (or anyone else) posts then simply move on to the next one.
There is no one right way to do this business or social media related to it.
I still don't understand all the nuances of Twitter and have yet to give Instagram a real go. Switter? I have an account but don't use it.
Networking on Twitter? It can be great! I've met quite a few clients now who found me due to another lady retweeting my ad posts.
Giving community warnings is great! Of course, it's often abused by liars and those with a hair-trigger for Blacklisting and even outing.
Just like all venues for this business, social media is a mixed bag of nuts.
I apologize for the rambling nature of my post.... I would say I'm a little rusty at this posting after such a long absence, but those who remember me, know I have a tendency to use 10000 words when far fewer will do.
It illustrated the pros and cons, and did so fairly adroitly, as well.
I have never been a fan of SM, you can pick up any newspaper, or go to any news website, and find a story or two about how the mighty have fallen on account of their preoccupation with SM.
I only post my professional pictures on twitter
And post comments
That’s about it.
I love showing off my new photoshoots pictures
Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of whiny and petty posts on Twitter coming from the ladies' side (a la "here's what happened tonight" posts), but they are full of self-serving whining and lack insight or suggestions. But when I first got back onto Twitter after the outage here, I was inundated with DMs asking me questions, like "what's your web site" and "how can I meet you" and "where are you located" that could've easily been answered by spending 2 minutes reading my profile and last couple of tweets. Many experience this.
I think some of these guys are actually sincere, but the majority are time-wasters. Since time is a valuable asset that does not renew itself, occasionally one has to post reminders on the rules of the game. No matter how kind of a post you write and how sweet your intentions are, there will always be at least a few jerk-offs (often anonymous) on both sides who think you're being dramatic or a whining bitch. And some men really don/'t like being told what to do, even when it would greatly help speed up the process of meeting.
Hey, you git to take the good with the bad. I ignore the bad as my time is valuable, like I said The good guys more than make up for it.
Social media is fun, a great way to get to know other ladies and clients, and can be updated much faster than a web site, but very time-consuming. I don't have as much time as others because the good guys keep me busy.
I had a Twitter as well as an Instagram account but since I am not much for social media to begin I did not really keep up with it and ditched both accounts. I prefer to remain ‘under the radar’ as much as possible especially now with how everything has changed.
It has been a great way to communicate with our client base and to keep everyone in the loop and up to speed with all things 100 Proof.
I hope that Providers will keep in mind that many members of this community shun Social Media like the plague that it is. Search "plague that it is" and "nefarious tentacles" and similar phrases on General, Newbie and elsewhere. (Hmmm ... SEARCH is broken and you can't search "all these words". Search "plague" and "tentacles".) And be careful for your own privacy when using SM. See, for example:

The point being, many of us avoid SM so please don't discriminate against us or ASSUME that we have been following your SM and read every SM post. If you have a website, please keep that info up to date (touring schedule, rates, etc.), as well. Thanks!
First of all, I love that TER is back and hopefully it stays open because it is an important part of this community.
I would love people to reply and give their feedback about the pros and cons of social media in the SW community.

And I am so fucking pleased to announce, TODAY is that day. I agree with you COMPLETELY.
The providers on SM seem to think they are ABOVE the rest of us lowly TER hookers/johns and their disdain for us is mutual. The chances of me EVER jumping through their many hoops just for the dubious privilege of seeing some OTHFB with delusions of grandeur and an overinflated sense of self worth, not to mention an overinflated price tag are absolutely ZERO. I will NEVER need to get laid that bad.
Now please ask me how I REALLY feel. lol
All generalizations are false, including this one. (Mark Twain)
Not all, or even most, companions I've encountered on SM have the attitude you described. Almost every lady who's been posting here in the past few days is on Twitter. I imagine it's the same for Instagram but possibly different on Switter.
As to jumping through hoops.... that's extremely subjective, as you well know.
Reading on other sites' message boards, I've learned many consider ANY form of screening to be jumping through hoops. Then there are those who'd send a blood sample to get a date with the lady of his choice and not think twice about it.
Overinflated rates? Again, everyone's got their own idea of what we should be charging. Some people won't even look at ladies charging LESS than 500 while others balk at paying half that.
There's no one true measure of how many hoops is too many nor of how high is too high of a rate. And I'm kinda sure you've said similar in the past.
As it happens, I'm currently running a poll on Twitter to gauge my fellow companions' feelings about TER's return.
There's still several days before it concludes but here are the current numbers:
Delisting 14.7%
Happy it's back 23.5%
Considering delisting 26.5%
It's a necessary evil 35.3%
It's a very small sample size and I have no idea whether it's representative of providers' opinions as a whole, but I find it interesting.
And yes... please tell me how you really feel! Lie on my couch and tell me all about the nasty hookers of SM. (but please don't forget my therapy sessions are at triple my normal fee and I don't have a stocked liquor cabinet lol)
(Hmmm, I think I could have phrased that better.)
but of the dozen or so gals I know (almost all of whom I met through TER, so there is that to consider) each one has been happy to see TER back in the US, and have asked me to post a new review of them which I have done where applicable.
were participating in your "poll" .
Does not look accurate to me
Every provider I know, including me are beyond happy that TER is back.
There is small group of Twitter providers, who were TER haters for years!
and to them I say "good riddance"
Actually there is a rather large contingent of TER hating ho's. A lot of them absolutely HATE having their fake pics, poor service and shitty attitude being revealed to a large segment of their potential market place. Scammers HATE the bright light of daylight.
That said, TER is hardly a perfect solution, but for the last couple of decades it's been the best thing in an imperfect world, for the clients and the honest, hardworking providers at least. For the ROB's and the B&S women out there, Not so Much. lol
Only 60-some have voted so far. A lot of ladies are still undecided, waiting to see how it pans out now.
These results are different from what you're hearing? I don't doubt that for a moment. There are lots of TER-positive ladies. But.....
Here's the thing: this poll is anonymous.
Far be it from me to suggest that some who are telling their clients (even those they consider friends) they're happy about TER's return might actually be less than thrilled..... oh who am I kidding?? YES, ladies will publicly say what looks best for them marketing-wise while privately not feeling a bit differently about it.
On the other hand, I could be entirely wrong. The vast majority of companions could be completely thrilled.
ESPECIALLY the ones who use fake pics, give poor service, or otherwise don't give value to their clients. I mean why in the world would they want their potential victims, err clients, knowing in advance what a poor value they are going to get for their money.
See, I am capable at looking at this from the hooker's perspective. Now please look at it from the John's POV. TER, as flawed as it might be will at least protect us from the worse offenders. If a woman advertises as 5' 6" and 120 lbs, but shows up tipping the scales at 220 lbs, even the most pussy whipped of reviewers is going to mention it. Likewise if she claims to be 25, but looks 45, some guy will eventually call her out for it in a review. (I wish I could say ALL reviewers would call her out, but we both know better than that)
Lets be honest here, not all providers are honest in their dealing with customers, TER "helps" to keep them honest. It's not perfect, but it does weed out the worst offenders. AND of course you girls are free to delist yourselves if you don't like it here. I am NOT talking about you of course, I mean the generic "you" lol Now if Grace wants to leave all I can say is "Don't let the door hit you on your old fat ass on the way out" lol
I've always said it's important to have a way to research companions.
Since TER's reviews have been unavailable, I have met many clients who were robbed, ripped-off, and attacked.
And, of course, some who were arrested in a sting. One of the latter even told me he KNEW the pics were too good to be true but he took a chance anyway. I think he'd have been thrilled to have found a real provider using fake photos instead.
The fake/inaccurate photos are another issue, but also very deserving of being revealed. Many of use may not love the way we look in our pictures, but we still use recent and accurate ones. So the dishonesty is annoying to the conscientious among provider ranks.
Ditto for upsellers and sundry other shady behaviors. I also personally feel there should be a way to safely warn others of situations where it appears the companion is being coerced or trafficked.
I don't have any answers or solutions as to what the best system should be. But I'm here, again, hoping for the best.
but in spite of our differing viewpoints on this (and other) subject. I have always found you to be rather reasonable and capable of seeing the other viewpoint, but I promise I won't tell anyone. lol
TER is a double edged sword for most providers, is it always fair? NO, it wasn't designed to simply be yet another ad venue for the ladies. It was created for the johns who previously had ZERO way to protect themselves from the countless scams and ripoffs that go hand in hand with an "underground" business. It has since morphed into a community of both hookers and johns, and a LOT of the deserving (and more than a few of the undeserving) ladies have profited immensely from the site. It's far from a perfect system, but without it a lot of guys who have been ripped out just one too many times have simply quit seeing ladies at all. The return of TER should be something all legitimate ladies should be welcoming, but for those that aren't happy with the way they think they are being treated, there is nothing forcing them to be here, delisting can be done in a snap. Problem solved.
BTW I don't mind you advocating from the provider POV, I am simply doing the same from the client POV. Grace should take some lessons from you on listening to opposing points of view, her words have ZERO effect on me, she is hardly my type and she is not going to discourage even one other provider from seeing me with her little rant. OTOH, I am sure at least someone is going to read her post and think to themselves, just like they do when they read all the man hating rants on Twitter, "what a cunt, no way am I going to book with her" Of course I am sure she is so popular she is probably turning down business every day. Yeah, sure she is. lol
On my Twitter. It's still running and I hope more companions will vote before it ends.
You are flooding boards with your threADS, but you are not sure that TER is the best thing that ever happened to hobby world ever?
Of course it would benefit you to have less providers on TER
So please stop your stupid poll, doesn’t really look good on you .
I honestly thought some might be interested in checking it out once it's done.
That's all.
I don't recall posting anything negative about TER in the past week, so I don't know where you're getting your ideas.
Please don't put words in my mouth. Thank you.
Yes, it will have several flaws i.e. it will be non-scientific along with it being a small sample size but it can give a least a glimpse into what some girls may be thinking.
And don't take "World" too seriously as he trolls around with his hair on fire telling peeps TER doesn't need any changes at all, which is all you need to know about him.
I knew there was a reason I didn't hate you lol!
Clearly, if I'm going to continue contributing to the boards, I must acquaint myself with the current cast of characters.
Thank you for the hair-on-fire imagery; it made me laugh!!!
Not to White Knight or anything but I like provider input, even if I don't always agree with it. This is the market in action, we all want the most for the least. That's just nature and it is actually a power for good. When the other side of the deal is talking it helps me in future negotiations.
MY measure is the ONE true measure. lol
I am sorry Debra, but I have seen tweet after tweet of OTHFB's asking $1,000 hr in the larger markets like NYC, and not only asking a grand an hour, without reviews obviously, but DEMANDING a 25-50% deposit to boot for dates as short as a single hour. Obviously it isn't ALL the SM ho's doing this, but prior to TER coming back online with reviews the trend was very disturbing with even some of the most unlikely, and experienced mongers losing the battle of wills where rates, screening and deposits are concerned.
Let me repeat my earlier statement, "I will NEVER jump through those kind of hoops, NEVER" I still have most of my hair, all of my teeth, and I am capable of getting laid the "old fashioned way" if I have to, I am NOT going to send some SM prima donna hundreds of dollars in advance, fill out her insipid little screening form and then beg her to actually show up for our session. AINT gonna happen.
No one knows what the future has in store, but I predict that with TER reviews coming back online and mongers being able to hold the ROB's accountable for their actions, not to mention being able to check a girl out before booking with her, I am betting that this new trend of hookers DEMANDING Johns jump through their hoops is about to end, and end quickly. Wanna bet a dollar? lol
Manhattan is another world. Just across the Hudson in New Jersey, prices are more down to earth.
I personally haven't seen (or perhaps paid enough attention to notice) what you've described. Actually, I rarely go look at a lady's website to see what her rate or screening criteria is. My assistant checks out others when sending reference requests so I'll ask her if she's noticed what you describe.
I've noticed many of my fellow touring providers require deposits for even a 1-hour date, and I cannot disagree with them on that. (I'm going to start doing so for one of my cities, where I have a very high rate of cancellations from new clients)
Slightly off-topic: a few years back I recall people saying rates for a reputable providers START at around 500-600.... so is 1000 really out of line there? Wouldn't it be similar to ladies charging 700 in Chicago, where 400 is more the norm? (thanks in advance for helping with my market research!)
Ok, back to your points.... yes, those with little to no established reputation will likely be hard-pressed to continue charging significantly higher-than-average rates successfully once potential clients have the options of verifying others. They'll either have to change it up (lower rates) and/or suck it up and get themselves established.
THat should read.... "rates for reputable providersi IN NYC start at around 500-600."
Sorry. As you were.
These providers are running their business how they see fit, and they’re obviously getting dates from gentlemen willing to follow through. Sorry that rubs you the wrong way. I wonder, would your walk into Aston Martin screaming about their prices when you can go to Ford and put down $250 for a Fiesta, or do you save your rage just for hookers?
Nobody cares if you’ll pay their prices, deposits, or screen. Seriously. No one. The providers have their business outlined and you either comply or move on. Back to the Aston Martin, same deal; they don’t care if you can go buy a Fiesta for $9995, you either comply and pay them or move on.
You sit here day in and day out circle jerking and boasting, saying what you’re not going to do in order to get a date. Cool story, bro. By the same token, many of us have set our rates higher (and doing just fine) with deposits and real life info (sorry, no whitelist here) for the mere fact we prefer not to spend time with fellas that sit on here, relentlessly, talking smack.
One could say, the trash takes itself out.
Anyhow, this is my first and only reply I will ever make you to. I prefer not to waste a lot of time on ogres. I pity your life, hopefully your circle jerk of friends stick up for you here.
Interesting marketing concept. Sure seems someone hit home 😂
paying a Mercedes price for a Mercedes, but what sucks is paying the Mercedes price and ending up getting the Ford Fiesta. Don't forget that when it comes to providers, we pay BEFORE we get the test drive, and I have never heard of anyone getting a refund if a Mercedes turns out to be Ford Fiesta with a fancy paint job.

like those poor fuckers (and I am one) who get married.
that those companions from Twitter who publicly and privately proclaimed their dislike, and some disdain, for TER were some of the first ones who posted photos and ads here once TER went back online for the US without requiring the use of a VPN.
As a variety seeking client, my main complaint about social media is search inefficiency. It's great for fanboys, obviously.
With not being able to advertise and market myself on TER for 2 years, Twitter became my go to place. I'm not on Switter at all, never liked the layout.
IMO, I've kept my Twitter page 99% positive, only going off script so to speak when I get dick pics, cream pies and the like unsolicited. I've had my Twitter page open, aka public for the month of December and that has been quite the experience!
I wish P411 was still on Twitter. They got their account their suspended. They are my 2nd go to for biz at the moment.I've missed TER greatly and really hope it continues to grow. It won't happen overnight.
Steph XOXO
I am glad that we have emerged from the shadows. It is like a fraternity/sorority relationship has been re-ignited; accept this time we decide ourselves whether we are in or not.

Think about it. If you’re skeptical about a man hater, (or a man hating phase,) you can avoid them. You might not get that from reviews. So your cons seem like pros.
Also, you can mute people so they don’t show up in your feed via retweets and stuff.
I wouldn’t read so much into everything, though. You’ll drive yourself nuts. Social media can be annoying & there can be lots of negative energy and bad reasoning. You can lose brain cells, but you can gain some god friends lol
agreed, like I said earlier... 2020 with 20/20 vision.
Mute is a great option but if it doesnt work... blocked is even a better feature.
You actually make a GREAT point, just like I have been able to remove many BSC hookers from my to-do list because of their rants right here on TER, social media can be used for the very same purpose.
As for losing brain cells, do you think anyone who drinks as much as me, AND who spends as much time on the P&R board reading the posts of retards, can really afford any additional activities that would cost me brain cells??? lol
BTW somebody sent me a link to your "drunk singing in the bathroom" a while back and you weren't anywhere near as bad as I thought you'd be))
I think I posted something on Instagram when I had Instagram.
I have an online concert coming up for people who bought tickets. It’s a guitar & vocals mixed with comedy event.
I’ve made 2,235 so far in tickets and they don’t even know if I can play or sing, so thank you for this lol!!!
It’ll be a sober concert of course since I quit drinking & smoking yay!
By the way, how the hell are ya Gambler?
P.S. I don’t think I’ve ever asked. What’s your go-to game when you gamble?
I used to be one of those people that did not want to be on social media.
But I started my Twitter page in 2017 and it has been is great for business. I have met so many gents who found me there.
I do not get into arguments or disagreements with guys or other providers. But then again I never did this here or any other site. So social media would be no different for me. I have seen many tweets with ladies arguing with each other or just mess between a client and provider.People asking and begging for gifts/cash continuously, the rude comments from people hiding behind their twitter page.
But on the other hand I have seen kindness and been shown kindness by people I may/may not have met who appreciate my content. Providers many who I do not know personally will respond with kind words or RT each others postings. So many times guys have told me they found me from a RT from a fellow provider and I return the favor.
If someone is inappropriate or rude I just block or put them on mute I do not want to see arguing and bs on my timeline.
I use social media to post new photos, selfies, and my quite often dancing videos.
So a client can see what I look like in selfies, professional photos,as well as non-edited videos.
I like to have a good time and not take my self so seriously all of the time. It is a way for a client to see my personality and to learn more about me.
Now that I am a traveling provider it has really helped. It is a great way to keep up with a provider's schedule and any unexpected trips or availability.
I like to post on Twitter my travel schedule as well as local schedule.
Many guys who are on P411 might not log-on or check another ad website have told me they found me from another provider RT.So that is also another helpful thing about social media.
Just my .02
They show your personality.
Follow Jaydalee! It's worth it just for her selfies!!
But more importantly, it's great for getting updates on her touring schedule and other timely information.
I live Jaydalee’s selfie videos. ❤️
Love, not live ugh lol
I love* Jaydalee’s selfie videos.
Thanks so much for your kind words.
There are many fabulous ladies on Twitter .
Happy holidays xo
I love Twitter because you guys can see me in my natural, goofy ass state of being!! I agree with Jaydalee, Twitter is a great way to connect with people and keep those who are interested up to date on my whereabouts.
the problem is not in the tool, is inside the brain of the person who use those tools.
So, Social Media can be great if you use on constructive way, dinamic, you can be close and showing much more about your personality. Exchange information. Share pics and videos so guys can have clear idea about who use and abuse and who use it on smart way.
For me is great because I can be close of my potential customers, I can seduce with my personality or sensuality with pics and games. Guys can see that I'm a real independent lady, exchange messages, can get actualizated material. And I don't waste my time sending pics, I can have albums and general information.
Buuuuuuuuuut all social media except Twitter are very conservative about adult content and you can loose your account for stupid things.
It's funny how they get so mad when someone else copies their tweets as if a client will care if a tweet was "plagiarized".
Match.com, POF, Okcupid, and LinkedIn are all forms of social media, as well. TER is terrific social media.
