2025 New Sex Law ??
I had a provider ask me about this and wondered what the real deal was. I think it has been discussed before but I searched back several pages and could not find it. As I understand some type of new sex law is coming into effect first of the year. What are the details and how might it effect the regular hobbyist ?

Before Trump got elected, a bunch of people who used to work in the Administration created a document called Project 2025 that was a roadmap for a future Trump Administration. It was wildly unpopular so Trump distanced himself from it during the campaign. However he got elected and hired the people who wrote it and everyone is basically admitting that it was the plan all along. One component of it involved cracking down on porn and sex work.

We have no idea what is going to happen or what will take shape. I think most people are expecting some form crackdown or pressure on online sex work. A few red states started requiring proof of age for online porn, that might be one thing. Another thing might be pressure on SM networks and payment providers to crack down on there end but for now we have no idea really.
No fake or altered pictures and face and midsection must be visible.
Real age required on ads.
CIM mandatory.
All rates roll back to 2016.

Reads to me like rent-seeking writ large. So if you're politically connected you end up with a pass (or if you're of exploitable value and agree to the "deal") all is good. Everyone else gets stomped with a boot. And, the providers don't face any more penalties.
Seems like a law designed to limit demand while leaving supply intact. Hummmmm, someone looking to roll back the prices in NC?
If it were somewhere else, like a sanctuary city/state, I might go with they see the provider as some type of victim so want to punish those exploiting the weakness/hardship the provider is living with but NC? Cannot see that.
We need to get rid of these politicians and get some new political parties going . Isn't this supposed to be a free country.
They need to go deal with legalized corruption, but they won't because they are the biggest benefactor of it through dark campaign money.

I do not think people are paying attention there are states that have banned adult and/or porn sites it is suppose to be in effect 2025 but there are states who are already enforcing these rules. So before you are so quick to dismiss that it does not affect you how about if guys in those states that cannot access these websites including your website or advertising sites?
If he does not do the age verification and provide all kinds of info.He cannot see any of our ads/website/contact info whether he was visiting our cities or if we were visiting his city.
I think people need to pay more attention to what is going on and coming in the future.
Anyone can use a VPN to access websites as if they are in different states or even different countries.
