One of my biggest nightmares happened yesterday - out shopping with my wife and son and ran into one of my providers in the same aisle.
My heart rate went from 70 to 200 in 2 seconds. However, when we passed she's simply glanced over at me, zero expression on her face and that was that. Fantastic!
She could have shot me a huge smile or even worse, came up to me and said...well, anything, and my wife would have been; "so who was that?" And it's not like my wife's stupid either. Even her shooting me a smile would have put her on guard and raised questions. It's not like hot girls randomly smile at me when I'm with my wife grocery shopping
But very nice, very classy and we laughed about it through email later.
Of course the gentlemen have to behave the same way, and that doesn't always happen. I remember reading a post on one of these boards a while back where a provider was out with her dad, and some guy came up and said "hi xxx" (provider name). I think she brushed him off and ignored him, and luckily her dad was hard of hearing so didn't really know what was going on, but that could have been bad. Everyone has to behave when seeing someone from the hobby, outside of the hobby.
I was on my way to the metro station in DC returning from lunch, as I'm walking down New Hampshire Ave. a very frequent regular come around the corner with a group of people who seemed to be work associates.
The second he recognized me it was like he saw death, fortunately the group was too busy walking and chatting to pay attention to the shocked expression on his face. It was quite amusing, I just continued to walk regularly and pretend to pay no mind. But I couldn't help but giggle to myself as I went around the corner. The look on his face was priceless, it was obviously his first time encountering a known provider in civvie life.
We still joke about it whenever I visit DC. Although I think it should be common sense to not acknowledge the person, it is the true test of tact.
of us have private lives too. I am glad you were pleasantly surprised by her response. We are also very happy when and if you see us about town you respond in the very same way.

a friendly stranger. Maybe eye contact, a slight courteous nod of the head (if that's what you'd do with a stranger) & you are both past & moving on. If you study people, these gestures are a polite aknowledgement that the passing will invade my personal space. It is well to have this in mind in case it happens to you, that you'll react correctly & not make a mistake because of the surprise. H
I was with another escort, and further, the escort we bumped into had introduced me to the one I was with, and they had developed very strained relations since then.
