Since there is some variation on the responses that some providers can give I usually stick to Preferred 411 for verification purposes. They usually require an okay and then they say if you can't give an okay then don't elaborate on the hobbyist. Also it doesn't let the provider go into depth with respect to the hobbyist as well. I am also wondering have you tried RSK 2000?

He most likely ascertained said information by talking with a provider who would have access to that information with her authentication credentials. That is how he would learn of a YMMV or any indifferent comments a provider would have of him.

Just struck me as odd.

I have two references on Datecheck.  The problem is one gave me a "barely recommended" verification.  I called her about it and she claims it was a mistake and said she would fix it.  I have never been disrespectful with a provider or asked one to go beyond their boundaries.  On the contrary, many providers have said that I'm a very "easy session".  Question is, are their any providers willing to pull up my profile and let me know if the problem has been corrected?  Also, why do agencies not give DC referrals?  They are quick to require them, but not so quick to give them.  Do they get annoyed at you listing them as a reference?

sure it was a mistake.  I saw her three times, twice in my home.  She even stayed after for a couple of beers.  But the "We Met" request was sent about a year after I saw her last.  (I had just joined DC).  She must have confused me with someone else.  In hind site I shouldn't have called her in case it wasn't a mistake, but I'm trying really hard to establish a positive history.  I think the provider who notified me about the negative review should have called herself to get more details.

I saw mine. Most of my got highly recommends and a few recommends.

I did not ask for to show it. She showed it on her own to me.

I might have skipped asking a couple of providers who come to mind. I hope their recommendations were more unequivocal than my reviews. *gulp* Oh well, it hasn't stopped anybody from seeing me yet.

First, I didn't know that there was a rating system for the guys, either. I have a bunch of approvals but I don't know what the details are. I tend to think of myself like the OP: I'm on time, clean, respectful, "easy session", maybe I talk too much, ...  I hope I don't have any unfair reviews!

But I also have some "We Met" requests that never got acted upon, even with a followup email or voice mail. I figure it's in D-C's interest to make sure that We Met requests get confirmed or the main value of D-C is lost and it becomes just another ad mall. Now, because of the rating thing, I'm wondering if a failure to confirm is their way of telling me that "no confirmation" is better than a bad one. FWIW, the two non-confirms I'm thinking of were great dates that went well and I posted positive reviews.

Thinking about it further, if a session went badly, why would anyone request a confirmation anyway?

According to their FAQ, D-C sends only one email notifying the provider that you have requested confirmation. After a few days, P411 puts her account on hold until she responds.

Although I would never request an OK when a session went downright badly, I have done so without hesitation when it wasn't  one of my greatest ever. I also had one girl confirm me without my request after a pretty mediocre date.

I just checked through D-C's FAQs, and I couldn't find any mention of different levels of recommendation. All it says (for clients) is, "The entertainer then approves or declines the request." Very misleading. P411 is pretty emphatic: "providers can only give clients an OK.... no other notes good or bad are allowed."

I had a guy who NCNS me ask.  Seriously.  We met once, and he NCNS on the second appointment.  Two days later I received the request.  I really think he completely forgot about our date.  Unfortunately for him, I didn't.  I just checked, and his membership with DC has expired.  Go figure.
