So, I  sometimes have seizures that render me useless but not for too long.  However, I recently had a very big one that put me in the hospital and had me ncns a client which never would happened had I not been cursed with ths illness.  My client was very upset with me and cared not about my condition and promptly let me know that he didn't want to see me again...

Wtf, it's not my fault I have this shitty medical condition:(

Any thoughts on how or why someone could be so cold?

But if the client doesn't feel comfortable, he has complete right not to see you. What if you pass out during the session and he has to take you to the hospital? How would he explain that to his wife and kids?  What if LE gets involved and the situation ends up going from bad to worse..

Yes..Its not your fault, but his not his fault either..

I'm sorry you have that condition.
But maybe he didn't belive you.
I can't see someone being so cold about something like that.
Then again the world is full of assholes.

I'd guess the client did not believe that is what happened.  Too many providers NCNS for very different reasons and their bad actions likely splashed on you.

Not saying it's right on either side but it doesn't surprise me.

My guess is that he has had a number of such issues in the past whatever recent timeframe, and over-reacted to this occurance.  Chances are your timing was bad more than anything else.

Yesterday was the first time in many months that I just could.  not.   get.   fucking.   laid.   by a reputable provider in DC no matter how hard tried, some flaking out going on and blah blah blah....if there had been a NCNS at the end of it all I would have been pretty irritated (but not THAT irritated, it is a hobby and it is sex, it is FUN).  It is OK people - my ATF is coming to the rescue today and thanks for your concern....Dear Lord do I have something to share with that beautiful young lady today....

:-)

Again, guessing it is more an aggregate of occurances on his part although Curly did bring up a valid point, RE what if he had to call for help during a session and he ended up on some sort of police report.   I doubt that thought alone and the one NCNS were enough by themselves, though.  He is probably resetting things after a number of disappointments.

Reach out to him in a few weeks after things settle down.

I agree with Curly. Being put in a position like that can be scary. Im sorry this happens to you but try and look at it through your clients point of you. Not only would I be scared shitless but Id fear having to go through that again and would rather avoid it happening again if I could.

First of all, I'm sorry for your situation, and yes - it does seem a bit cold that a client would drop you based on one incident, especially if you were in contact with him and willing to make it up to him.

On the other hand, I can think of a lot of reasons why a client WOULD drop you after a ncns:

1) He doesn't believe you. People lie.
2) He doesn't respect ncns for ANY reason
3) He has a limited hobbying window, and doesn't want to risk losing out again
4) He doesn't want to risk you having a seizure during an appointment
5) He doesn't fully understand, and is afraid of the condition itself
6) HE is lying - he doesn't care to see you again and is using this as an excuse

I'm sure there are more that I'm not thinking of. It's a shame and a pain for you that you have this shitty medical condition, but it DOES limit you in some ways, and you can't expect that everyone will be willing to work with you, although I'm sure you'll find that many will.

You were dumped.  Just saying.  Sorry about your medical condition, but there are other guys out there.  You don't need this jerk.  This could be a blessing in disguise.

I knew a guy in high school who had a seizure during class.  One second he was fine, the next, he fell out of the chair and began convulsing.  Scary stuff.

Just take your meds.  Praying that you don't have another seizure.

Let me rephrase it another way...

If the guy had issues where he gets seizures, would the provider find comfortable seeing the guy..

This is not dating. I can understand in a dating situation that it would be not appropriate to dump someone if they had a medical condition..

This is pay for play temporary arrangement..

I guess you never graduated from high-school... Did you Cincy?

Unless, he just thinks she is full of shit, there is no reason to be an ass when someone is sick or having a serious issue like this one. To answer your question though, no...I would NOT see someone who was prone to seizures. I am not a Nurse and my only affiliation with Health Care is on the Admin. side of it. I am not "trained" to deal with these types of situations, so for both of our protection, I would refuse the appt.

He could have just come across as rude because he was scared shitless.. Scared shitless is the ultimate stage in being scared, and as a result you are so scared that you can't shit for days....:)

People come across differently in different situation - sometimes rude and aloof when they mean no harm..

But that's the shitty hand that life sometimes deals to good people. If you were a pilot, truck driver, or surgeon, you would also be looking for other work.
If he was cold, shame on him, but sometimes the bold truth can help you decide your next move, instead of a pile of fluff that leaves you hoping everything's alright.

How that scared him, is beyond me when he was not even there. He is just pissed that she had to cancel without even being able to call, and thinks she is making this up. That is the only reason for such a reaction. If I believed a guy when he said "His brother got in a car wreck" for his ncns excuse, I would not be angry about it. I would be understanding. If I did NOT believe him, I would tell him to fk off.

Passthebutter13,

I'm sorry about your condition. I come from a large family, and I have a bro that has epilepsy. I've been witness to his seizures, and they are scary.
That being said, many peeps are scared of anything "Not Normal".  They have no patience in being prepared to respond to an emergency.

you have lots of good advice above.

My advise would be to make sure your condition is being treated properly and that you continue to be vigilant in your maintenance of it.
This will ensure you don't have too many of these scenario's.

I have been NCNS by several providers, that left me Blueballed.  One such provider did it three times, out of four.  we still chat from time to time, but I'm hesitant to schedule in the near future.

Recently, I had a special Date set w/ an ATF, was to fly her in, had the 5 star accommodations and reservations set.  Less than 10 hours after we talked, she missed her flight.  WTF!!!!......she used that she was sick as her excuse.  OK shit happens!!!!....... But She did not contact me until she was to land. and then it was only by text, then went AWOL for 4 more hours, before she finally got back in contact.  We rescheduled for the next day, she flew in early, and was "still sick" , again we reschedule for a couple days later w/ the understanding we would talk later that day to set the details, she then flies home to FL....w/o saying a word.   Again..... WTF!!!!!, we agree to chat in a couple days, again to let her recuperate.  In the mean time I read a review that puts her having a last minute date that night she was held over, and to be recuperating???????
WTF!!!!!!.....I let her have it, and ........... she fired me!!!      WTF!!!!!  (I know too much WTF's but they display my astonishment of the events)
I should have thrown her to wolves on these Boards, But I'm not that viscous. Only she knows the real story, and she has too live with that.... It'll catch up to her.
It took a ton of Drama on her part, and 7 weeks to FINALLY!!!! get my deposit back.

She made good, but I'll never see her again even if she paid me.  She F'd up and didn't take responsibility, and then allowed the situation to descend into too much 'Effin Drama.

Don't get me wrong, I wish her well.  She just broke the rules, big time and tried to blame me for not being understanding.

Life is too Short Darling.   This too shall Pass.

Keep yourself busy, as not to dwell on it, and let it eat you up.

Just know there are more clients out there.

It must be my manly good looks, suave and debonaire approach to life, and wit and charm that intrigues you hookers.

Or else I just haven't stumbled on the hooker that is all that picky?

Or, maybe he thought you were just telling him a sad story.

But I feel that good clients take the whole person into account, rather than toss someone over one single incident (same goes for providers). If this client can't do that for you, especially when you had a medical emergency, then you're better off w/o him!

My guess, is that is probably has him scared that it will happen during a session. My ex-husband had epilepsy, & the first time he had a seizure, it was an extremely frightening experience. Once you know what to do in that situation, it became second nature to handle the situation.... but to someone who has no idea what they are supposed to do(or not do), may just want to stay away from it altogether.

I'm not saying that what he did is right.  I'm merely trying to guess as to why he reacted in that manner.

Sometimes guys just don't care, and many guys hate NCNS, no matter what the explanation.

But honestly, why would you care?  If the guy is that callous, why you do care about what he thinks?
