Getting into a scuffle with LE may make the date seem better by comparison. Pretty clear this guy needs to take a long look at how he is making his choices.

NZ and NSW don't have legalized prostitution, they have decriminalized prostitution. There is a significant difference. Germany is legalized, though, and it would be interesting to know if ladies can operate independently there. I don't think any of us would necessarily want to work in a house!! Or at least very few of us would.
