I have been trying to get with a provider for three days.  I have never been with any of the three I called, but have e-mailed one for the past two weeks.  I get a hold of them and they say to call back from the area at the specified time, then when I call...no pick-up, no call back.  Later I get calls...a lot later and I try to set something up for the next day but no luck there either.  What is up?  I feel like I can't give my money away...

I dunno..maybe you scare them! Some ladies rather than just say no just flake! Dont understand & so sorry this happened! Good luck & I hope you can finally give your money away lol

I don't do business with people who don't respect me or my time. Why would you? Are you going to create an environment where you're known as someone easy to manipulate? I've blown off girls less responsive than that.

Respect/professionalism is a two-way street.

... is that your money stays in your pocket.

The next is that you don't call them again so the $thousands$ they might have potentially made from you over time instead will end up either in your pocket, or in the pocketbook of a competitor smart enough to answer her phone.

The job of the provider is to make the hobbyist feel like he's a high priority of hers. If a hobbyist goes chasing after flakey & arrogant providers, he'll become emotionally needy & desperate & his self esteem will take a beating.

Best to move onto providers that are more courteous & reliable. They're out there.

BP or CL ? Try looking at reviews here. Go to reviews, than try new reviews, than go to Phoenix. There are a number of new reviews of excellent reliable providers. Of course you'll need vip membership to read the details.

I think you are either bottom fishing or looking in the catalog for  the best pictures. Well, the best providers are good at what they do and they are responsible because this is how they choose to make a living. You're likely chasing wannabes or ladies with so many issues, they can't keep track of who is trying to see them and when. Up your game and start out with well-reviewed providers. If you are in Phoenix, you have to know there was a huge fallout there in the last year or so and this also might be contributing to your bad run. Finally, don't be desperate to give away your money. Lead with your little head, you'll wind up in the pokey eating a mayonnaise-less bologna sandwich wishing you'd listened to people who tried to tell you the scoop.

Your post is a bit light on details, but these sound suspiciously like BP/CL ladies who only work on a first come, first served basis.

You call, they tell you to come to the gas station at some cross street location to call. They do this to every Tom, Dick and Harry that calls. The first one there wins, and the game continues. These ladies generally do not do email, and they do not make appointments.

You want someone that you can contact and make an actual appointment. Otherwise, stop wasting your time and go to an AMP.

The above is your first clue.

A provider (anyone) who is attending to business (any business)  in a professional way will engage with you to set an appt and, once date/time is verified, will follow through with that appt, or inform you of any unexpected schedule changes in advance.  

Anyone who does not follow this basic protocol is not someone with whom you should be wasting time.

And....you may want to try scheduling a little bit more in advance than next day. For the ladies who will not jerk you around, last minute scheduling may/may not be an option.

Many of the providers who advertise on the above forums work on a first come, first serve basis. They call you back when they don't have customers or times are slow.

Try some well reviewed TER providers who schedule in advance and that will change.

I've been in the hobby a couple of years and there are times when I feel the same way, that I just can't give my money away.  I recently had two respectable providers (by that I mean well reviewed here on TER) leave me sitting in a parking lot right before our appointment.  No call, no answer, no getting laid.  It is frustrating, but your luck will turn eventually.

I am more fiscally moderate and socially ultra-conservative.

Some things transcend liberal and conservative -- and one of them is basic self-respect.

You can tell a lot about a man's self-esteem by what he will tolerate from a woman.

And one thing a man with self-respect will absolutely NOT tolerate is being treated as insignificant and/or worthless.

Usually, a woman who is doing this, in my opinion, has her own issues and will tear others down as a way of building herself up. It's a form of bullying and not to be coddled.
