It’s interesting to me that inflation, at least at the moment is impacting everything I experience in normal life. Restaurants are charging more, car dealerships are charging more, gas is up, home supplies including lumber are up, and so too are provider fees.
What’s really interesting for me personally is that there are a number of providers I have seen in years past that I continue to see periodically that are on the higher side of pricing. By that I mean between 600 to 1K per hour. They are beautiful, classy, personable, and have mad skills. And yet their price points remained the same. At price points below 500 per hour, I have seen crazy increases. Women who were rather plain and had performance scores of 7 with maybe an occasional 8 and were asking 300 are now wanting 4 or 5 Benjamin’s and let’s face it, looks have not improved and neither have skills or performance. I don’t know if this is temporary or permanent, but I’m not going to pay those fees. I’d rather hobby with ladies who truly take care of themselves and give great performance and see them a few times a year and the rest of the time take cold showers.
The corollary is that people who bought a new car 2 years ago can sell their used car today for more than they paid for it. I don’t think that will last more than a few more months before the laws of supply and demand reassert themselves.
I would rather take the $200 average price for a one hour session and just go to a bar and buy some.drinks and pick up a woman. One out of three is so happy to get the attention and they come home and spend the night. The sex is better and they end up coming back and I know some of them just like getting free drinks and food and like the sex. It's just got worth spending silly money on an average sex worker. I even met one on tinder and met her at a bar and she revealed she was fire hire and I was shocked. I ended up talking up a storm with the bartender who was much younger and more attractive and ended up giving her a ride home when she closed the bar and got a pleasant thank you bj. and stalkers, I have found bar pickups for one-night stands a lot more difficult to score than 30-40 years ago. Women are just more prudent about taking risks. It might be easier in small towns where people tend to be friendlier and more trusting, but in the larger cities, its a lot of work to get a woman to go home with you. Great points--it's unfortunate provider rates are rising but there are so many complications with "civvie" women these days that the advantages of a drama-free hookup with great sex (especially if you're an established client) are still worth it.

Just make exchange of money for sex legal, and have common sense regulation around it. For e.g. have prostitutes of legal age register with county, and have them carry a card. Testing every 3 months or so. That's it.. Definitely not the Nevada model of over regulation. OK maybe advertising on the street corner where your kids go to school might not be a good idea. But that's it. No more taxes than what an individual or business would pay otherwise. There are enough laws on the books to catch criminals.
You are right about pot.. I read a lot about the legal pot when Nevada legalized it. And one of the reasons why legal weed is so expensive is because of high taxes, over regulation, and very high barriers to entry. That is why currently there are two parallel pot industries. At some point, hopefully, they merge into one..
There would be storefront, fully legal, fully regulated brothels charging 1,000 hr for a very sterile, non GFE experience and then there would still be the very same hookers we enjoy today, pretty much running their businesses the same way they are running them today, just like there are still pot dealers who undercut the state sponsored stores by as much as 50%

You are right about people not reading thoroughly and that there are so many disagreements here.
However there are many statements here that are plain language, however they include statements like, "You don't understand my humor" 
It would seem the author of the comment disagrees with your reading.
I think if people people sought to give a charitable reading -- meaning looking for the most sensible interpretation and allowing for poorly phrased statements -- we might also have less disagreement.
I do agree that the "that" grammatically should have referred to the $300 price but that didn't make a lot of sense given where he seems to be located and from any number of other posts he's made. Sometimes "plain English" is not as plain as some would like. A bit like common sense not really being as common as that phrase would imply.

Well, to your repeated question, isn't the answer obvious? Because some people are fine with paying them that and they are making the money they want. You've got two things going on here I think (well more than that but I'll just put these on the table for consideration). One is the assessed value of the service and appeal of the person by the one paying. The other is the marginal valuation they place on the costs (both monetary and the search efforts).
I would infer that in the case of some that stop visiting some provider once they raised their rates and while others continue seeing her that in the former case the the marginal value of the donation now exceeds the value of seeing that provider compared to some other provider at the lower rate. In the later case the marginal valuation of the donation is still lower than the value received and the marginal costs of finding an equivalent alternative at the lower price greater than the expected return to the guy.
It's also true many of us are just creatures of habit and don't like change and still think the price is worth the admission (and the impact of the increase on their standard of living so negligible it's not even worth trying to figure out -- it's all just lost in the budgetary noise).

$500 an hour is very expensive when you consider how fast that really is. Then think about what you can do with that $.
I just saw a touring escort I like go up to $700 an hour. Just too much. I get all this and that but it is just not practical.
The highest I've ever gone was 500. I see ladies advertise rates of 700, 800, 1000 an hour. I ask myself what can be so much better that 1000 is justified?

My rent increased two years ago by $600 with only a 60-day notice!
I had resided in this same loft for the last 8 years. At that point I
couldn't even fathom to make a move, nor could I afford to!
Steadily thereafter, it was a bi-annual $50-$75 raise; indeed, even
during Covid....
The Landlord "loophole" was applied to increase the gated parking fees.
Basically sticking-it-to-me from "behind", and not in a fun way whatsoever!
Subsequently, increases in utilities, gas, groceries, and ad-infinitum, amidst all
facets of everyday expenses occurred, as you've stated in your post regarding inflation.
Thereafter, Covid hit and my business all but ceased!
Additionally, many businesses equally experienced closures, bankruptcy, etc....
I wasn't eligible for unemployment benefits during Covid....zero, zilch, nada!
(Yet illegal immigrants were somehow eligible, go figure!)....
I'm "Hispanic, legally from Spain", so indeed, I CAN "go there", with my
aforementioned parenthesized comment, whilst still being very "politically correct"!
I've been a tax-paying Citizen since age 13! How is it I was "ineligible" and somehow fell
through said "cracks" in "The System"?!!
Literally only 3 Regular Clients ventured out to see me with trepidation and fear as the
rest of us.
I was equally fearful, as my dearest Father passed from Covid in April 2020.
Thus the health issue personal, prevalent, and forefront in not knowing if I might be next!
Meanwhile, not only am I NOT making an income during Covid, however I'm out there just like
many of you, in the dizzying "rat race" of hours-long+ lines to pay $25-$30 for the
ever-elusive 12 pack of toilet paper (whilst during Non-Covid shopping trips I pay $7),
$50 for 24 pack/paper towels, $20 for a 12 pack of basic bottled water, and I've not even
purchased "real" groceries (if they're even to be found on the shelves!)
When my exorbitant lease basically doubled, I had to adjust my donations to offset this increase,
just like many other said businesses have done.
Every business owner whom did or didn't qualify for Govt. aid, whom I've encountered, have all
risen their pricing structures regardless.
My hairdresser got assistance, yet she raised her prices $50....
Similarly, my nail, wax, esthetician, and any other services I maintain on a monthly, sometimes
weekly basis, have all increased.

When one is priced at a very high-level donation to begin with, there's really not much room
for inflation maneuvers, regardless of the supply/demand.
Although, those whom Hobby at that rate, certainly can afford a price increase if incurred.
The women at the 1000k/hourly level, obviously are financially doing just fine, regardless of the
Covid. Many have vast reservoirs of savings, maintain assets, are perhaps married, affording
a second income at their disposal.... etc.
In fact, I'd say they're probably doing even better, as most I would surmise are "homeowners"
whom either paid cash for their asset, or have a Mortgage that was refinanced at the lowest
rate in years.... thus a considerable savings resulted.
Said 1000k girls probably own their vehicles outright, or perhaps purchased a new one in cash, as car

And if you have indeed been a "tax paying citizen" for all these years than you most certainly were eligible for assistance during COVID.
As a provider the way you would have been a "tax paying citizen" would have been to either "self employed" like many other small businesses like most contractors, or you would have formed an entity like a corporation or LLC from which you drew a salary. Either way you would have been eligible for a PPP loan, actually TWO of them that you never would have had to pay back, both draws equal to two months of the pay you have been drawing, or rather two times the monthly pay you have been "reporting". If you have been cheating the tax man and claiming $100 week in income you would only be entitled to a thousand bucks each draw from PPP, OTOH If you had been reporting $100K a year in income (the max allowed under PPP) you would have received over $20,000 on each draw from PPP.
