....and I decided NOT to join RS2000.  On the heels of the TBD raids and the posts re large databases, there was one post that stuck out for me.  That post was from a hobbyist who simply said that he preferred to deal directly with the providers he chose to contact.  With all this in mind, I believe that my decision was the correct one, for me.  I have not ever, in many years of doing this, had a provider turn me down for an appointment.  What I do have and am happy to provide, is a number of references from reasonably well-known and certainly well-reviewed provider who are happy to vouvch for me when necessary.
