The amount of earnest sincerity is what cracked me up the most. To think that this mind-set still taunts us.

Showing all those pictures, it's almost as if it is a commercial for those magazines.  I wouldn't be surprised if the publishers of the magazines secretly financed that film in order to increase sales.

On a related note, I once met the narrator of that film, George Putnam.  He was a long time radio and TV news reporter in Los Angeles.  (He also used to ride horses in the Rose Parade every year.)  Sometime back in the 80's he was an anchor man for a TV station's weekend news, and a good friend of mine worked on the news crew.  One day my friend invited me to the station to watch the news broadcast, and the whole crew (and I) went for drinks at the Brown Derby afterwards.  George Putman was a nice guy, he even paid for the drinks!

My personal experience proves the accuracy of this film.  I used to look at such magazines, then once I had sex, I found I liked it and kept wanting to do it.  Soon, healthy sex (lights out, pajamas on, mish only, not too excited, no repeats, no oral, no dirty talk, only for procreation, with one woman only all my life, etc) was not enough and I wanted to see my partner naked, do things like ...Gd I dare not say it... DATY and do that and even worse things JUST FOR FUN.  If only I had never seen those mags, never had that first sex before marriage, never gotten involved with nudity and oral sex and things too fierce to mention, I might have been spared the life of perversion I now lead enjoying sex for its own sake and loving to make my lover climax over and over if possible. It is too late for me, let's hope others are spared.
