This morning at 7am I received a call from a pissed off wife.

Now if you have been in this business long enough, your going to get one.  Based on how you handle it, is another story all together.

Some say Deny, Deny, Deny..Others say just calmly tell her not to call again.

I did what I Needed to do, she was skipping away happy and not at all threatened or pissed off at her hubby anymore..

What would you have done???

keep it one big happy family..suggest a threesome..she might say yes..

You tell her...."Listen bitch...Your husband decided to seek me out, not the other way around, and if you had not let yourself go after the marriage, and become a fat cow, he would probably still be fucking you...Have you looked in the mirror lately biatch? If not, this is the perfect time to do so..."

On a serious note, why do you girls advertize your phone number? When the phone number gets googled, it brings up the TER page. After that its quite evident that you are a prostitute. I would suggest keeping your phone number private and only answering the phone when you are expecting a call back from the client. If you still get a phone call after all these precautions, and you might, just play dumb, and say it was probably a wrong number.

A guy gets caught by his wife, and somehow it is the provider's fault (at least to a degree) because her phone number is out there? Are you a product liability lawyer? How do you know that the number was out there, or that the lady knew Charlotte is a provider? She might have just found some texts, emails, and calls, been jealous and gave her a call.

Sounds like the guy fucked up and Charlotte did a masterful job covering his ass. In fact, the question should be reversed - Charlotte, tell us how you made that lady happy, please. Well done!

I am pretty sure the guy is a royal fuck up. But the question was asked by a provider, and I was just telling her out to protect herself. Of course nothing is 100% guaranteed, but by taking some steps, she can mitigate the damage.  

Of course, if the guy deletes his texts and phone history, he would never get the call, and this question would never even come up.

Do not acknowlege anything.. play dumb.. answer nothing and do not answer her calls again..

That is between her and her husband.

I have had this happen twice..

husband 1.. confessed... WTF?? He was trying to save his marriage.. Ok whatever.. I did not give her any info...

husband two. I am not sure if he knows, she knows to this day.. but because she could not confirm with me.. leaves her wondering.....??? I hope..

I do have her threating messages and emails to me and a log of all of her phone calls to me.. I never called her husband... ...she tried several avenues of getting info...

I have had this happen once...After the wife called the first time and left a message...I changed my number!

well.

1. I denied having a relationship with her husband, which is true, he just got sloppy and was doing an inquiry regarding my services.

2. I reminded her that it was not her fault that her husband wanted to look elsewhere that all men either liked flavor and or needed to fill a need within themselves, but she should not take it personal, most men do cheat at some points in their lives. The family was the most important factor. ESPECIALLY is there were children involved.

3. Asked if she wanted a job escorting, I could HOOK her up.. ha

4. Proposed a little something, something on the side herself!

She was laughing and giggling with me in the end, but had I really seen her husband, or admitted to it, things might have been different.

Staying calm and understanding was what she needed, nothing worse that a two strung our drama queens on the phone  together!  She needed a woman to woman talk, someone to reassure her, It was NOT HER FAULT.  

I did what I could as a compassionate person, and listened.

I don't think it makes a difference if you advertise your number or not. I don't. A gentleman forgot to erase a text message he sent to me. The wife texted my phone from another number pretending to be him asking if I was still in town when he KNEW I wasn't. My first train of thought led to the WORST possible thing: LE had gotten his phone and was somehow trying to lure me in. I faked dumb throughout the entire exchange (appt? What do you mean by that? I think you have the wrong number. Etc.) as my guard was up from the first text. He called from HIS phone a couple hours later and explained what had happened. He also came clean with her, which is why she stopped texting me. Her grind was with him, not me. Pretty freaking intense, and I'm just grateful that it didn't get uglier or go any further.

I don't think you can really say what you'd do in that situation. I mean, you could try to predict. But, each situation could throw a set of curveballs you never prepared for.

I get at least 100 calls a day and many jerk off while calling and looking at my pics. I have no idea who your husband is since this number is all over the web.

Yes, I have been on the other end of the phone getting cornered by a wife a few times. This is one of the reasons I changed the way I do my must have phone conversation or two before we meet. Once a deranged wife takes hold your phone it is never the same. Putting myself in their place I do understand and feel their pain.

To be honest, I seldom pick up my phone anymore unless I am expecting a call. She would have to leave a message which never get's returned.

I googled the phone number on her website, which is most likely the one the wife called her on and voila, this is what came up.

The blame still lies soley on the dumb ass husband, but Curly makes a valid point. Kind of hard to deny being a protistute with as much evidence against her as a 15 second Google search reveals.

I would listen to the other posters here, and NEVER engage the wife in conversation. Your chances of making things worse are MUCH higher than fixing them.

You do realize that if she believes that it's "not her fault" then by default its' the fault of her "lying cheating husband" that she more than likely plans on taking to the cleaners, so I wouldn't sprain my arm, patting myself of the back just yet.

FWIW you guys are looking good this year, I like your chances much better than those of the Braves. We MIGHT make the playoffs, but only if everybody stays healthy, we aren't deep enough to lose anybody.

Yeah. We still got 45 games to go, and lot of shit can happen till then. I've always been Nats fan, although, I just got my handle recently. Braves are a good team, and certainly have the playoff and World Series experience, which we clearly lack.  

I think you guys will make it to the playoffs - especially since this year there are 2 playoff spots for wildcard teams. So even if Nats do win the Division, which seems very likely, although not guaranteed, there is plenty of opportunity. Thanks to the new agreement.

Now, only if MLB can start using some technology for replays.

So, a gentleman calls and makes an appt..15 mins later the phone rings again. I never say "HI XXX", I never know who will be on the other end. I was lucky..the wife didnt google my number..She asked who I was and such because her husband just called this number...I calmly aand easily told her I have no clue, as I was not the one on the phone, it was my husband. (my area code looks like a house area code for nyc) ...I asked her if she was having work done on her home or was her husband into fantasy football, other then that I could not help her and suggest she call back after 5 because my husband already left for work..in a calm voice she said " o no problem, sorry to bother you"

No way on Gods green earth would I admit anything to a wife..I dont want to hurt anyone and she would definately be hurt one way or another...

I dont see the point in admitting to anyone what I do in this life..especially someones loved one..

Although this isn't the Newbie Board, it's just another example that Guys need to be reminded to be careful.

Doesn't happen often at all, thankfully, but it does happen. It depends on how much she knows already also...  but I'd say just do damage control. Try to help the gent as much as you can by playing innocent, possibly saying you're happily married with kids and that you're a school teacher and don't know what she's talking about.. he mustve called a wrong #. But it depends on how much she knows already as to what you'll say. You also want her not to be all over your case threatening to turn you in to the cops, etc. Being that you'll most likely be caugh off guard is why you should already have some idea of what to say generally so you don't sound like you're full of crap. I've used: I'm happily married, I'm 17 and in high school, I just got this # and dunno what you're talking about, my husband and I own a jewelry store so the call mustve been business related, etc. I'm very interested in what everyone else is saying on this subject, maybe i can get some new/better ideas

That's what they have been saying all season long that no matter what happens, they will shut him down. Initially, they were flirting with 160 innings, now the magic number is 180.

Their whole theory is that this will prevent burnout, especially since he had Tommy John's last year, and will help is career as a pitcher in years to come.

I see where they are coming from, but in my opinion, they could have planned this better - either by not starting him in April, or shutting him down for a bit in June and July and reactivating him later on

In Oregon, we have only three area codes (and as far as I know, the newest one is only in Portland), so all area codes go to houses and cells without distinguishing one from the other. Now, the prefix will often identify one from the other, but with the technology we have, even some previous "house only" numbers are being used for cells.

BTW, I like the diversionary tactics you used.

that kind of email once. I debated answering it and then chose to delete it as if it never arrived. When a second one came, I simply deleted it after reading it. Both emails were full of insinuations and rather useless threats of taking me to court; meh, lots of noise but what could she prove? She had my email and my name; hobby email that I eventually closed and hobby phone that I eventually disposed of. Never heard from him again. Never heard from her again, either.

Well, my hobby name is almost gone. I still use it here.
