I'm a once and done kind of guy. I don't regret it at all. I'm completely satisfied with my physiology. When I climax it's a completely overwhelming and debilitating event and I can't even imagine my body enduring it again without the passage of some time. But it does make me curious about the apparently plentiful who can and do climax multiple times in a short period of time.
I've always appreciated the multi-orgasmic woman, but it strikes me that her physiology is more conducive to multiple orgasms, mostly because her body doesn't need to prepare another load of ejaculate on such short notice. Maybe that's just a misconception.
For the gents - Are subsequent climaxes after your first as intense as the first? If so, how do you live through it? How is it you're not so completely trashed from the first that you're ready to go again in such a short time? And if you've depleted the entirety of your semen on your first climax, what super-human condition enables you to produce another substantial load after only moments. Or do you 'save' some for another round and if so, how is that possible?
For the ladies - When you are with a gent who is having his second or third climax, do you get the sense that they are as powerful as the first?

There was a movie years ago as a dramatic biography of a famous male (huge dick) porn-star. One scene I remember was his first major gig, in which he culminated with a full on pop. The director said it was a wrap, but made a comment along the line that he could do this or that better on his next film shoot. My point is, when one reads reviews, there seems to be one hell of a lot of hobbyists that claim to be popping two and even three times in the course of an hour. I used to be jealous. I've now come to be a bit suspicious.
My first load is massive but I have to pump a long time to get it to release, so there's not enough time or the muscular energy to get to the 3rd or 4th. 2nd is a reasonable possibility though. Sometimes I reach seconds within just 15~30 minutes when the lady is tight, hot, steamy and if the conditions of that day are right.
Less drinking and smoking definitely helps. I've gone up to 5 times in a 2 hour session but this happens very very rarely and the girl has to be very skilled in the art of giving pleasure in the right places.
In general though, I find myself being a once and done since I usually drink a bit more than I really should,
and smoke socially too.

The second pop is certainly less production volume, but no less intense.
I have known a few gents such as yourself who when they climax it is very extreme and takes the wind out of their sails for hours afterwards. My experiences were that if I spent enough time with them or knew them well enough they would indeed go again and in some cases it was even more powerful than the first time.
