Maybe this has been answered before but I searched for 30 minutes and couldn't find anything. (I obviously haven't used date-check as my main thing even tho I had it for a while)
To duplicate what I'm talking about:
1) Find a provider on Date-Check, click on her profile and click on her TER reviews where it says " - Click for Reviews * " The * stands for "directly linked to reviews".
2) First it gives me a prompt that says "New Mail". Why the New Mail prompt??
Looks very buggy at the very least.
3) And then forwards to this URL but the page looks like TER, effectively masquerading it.
http://www.date-check.com/memberarea/ter-reviews.asp The page looks like TER but if you try to login, the URL still stays the same but doesn't let you actually login.
Considering Date-Check is a well known service, I give them the benefit of the doubt that they are not collecting TER account handles and passwords. However, they can easy collect your login info if they wanted to using this method. Furthermore, this seems to render the login process completely useless under that Fake TER url so what's the point of this.
The only thing I can think of is maybe there was a point in time when Date Check was somehow showing the "juicy details" portion of TER reviews through this method but stopped giving it?
