to be porn stars probably only did one or two scenes for some obscure producer.  To my way of thinking, they are just using the term pornstar to enhance interest in booking them.  They aren't 'stars' by any stretch of anyone's imagination other than their own.

I would think that one of the biggest draws to seeing a porn star would be that you had seen them previously. How do you hobbyists feel about that? Is the draw to seeing a porn star, that you have seen their work previously, or just that they advertise as being a porn star?

are you advocating for the guys, or saying youre better than the girls who "cant prove" they have done porn?  

Coming from another provider, it sounds like professional jealousy.

We all know that some are prone to exaggeration, and that does hurt the legit claims; the skepticism of providers' is off the charts.  In the case of porn, if a discerning hobbyist really wants a recognizable porn star, I'm sure s/he looks at her bio to see what she's been in (at least I would!).  If for some reason the provider is keeping her career a secret, all the hobbyist knows is that she considers herself a porn star. Maybe that's enough to fit the bill.

I found her videos and watched them. Booked a session. I will simply say reality did not live up to the videos I watched. Not even close.

I realize that many of us have a niche market. Yours is porn star; I can sympathize that you find it a little annoying that others may advertise that way when they aren't what you consider a porn star.  However, my point was that in the end, it probably doesn't make a huge difference, so the frustration over it is probably not worth it.  Some hobbyists are ok with or even desire an obscure porn star, but for the hobbyists who want a recognizable one, they *will* look at the bio for actual films.

I've seen a half dozen (you included), and except for the first one (Ciera Sage), I originally met all at M&G's in various places before seeing them.  At those events, they were there as providers first as far as I was concerned, and the fact that they also did porn was not a consideration.  Most of these ladies were/are known quantities in the porn biz, a couple quite prominent.  So, I never had to ask...already knew.

So to prove it do the ex pornstars/hookers fuck without a condom?   Just because one hasn't been on a video or seem by many eyes doesn't mean we aren't pornstars (maybe we have private videos that's left for our eyes only)...

The provider won't tell anyone what her porn name was?  There is a provider who regularly tours Minneapolis, and though she advertises under her "provider" name, her website includes her "porn" name.  It was fairly easy for me to look her up and see one of her videos, verifying for me that she is a bona fide porn star.  Now she just needs to show up in town when I happen to have a pocket full of donation, so I can knock one off the bucket list.
