I have had the incredible pleasure of being with two very well known porn stars in Kimmy Granger and April O'Neill (and several lesser known ladies as well) as I wanted to have sex with a real life porn star since I was in my late teens, as that was always a bucket list item. It didn't hurt that I just happened to be wildly attracted to both Kimmy and April and a big fan of both. I saw April first, and it was more of a GFE experience with some PSE thrown in. I saw her twice. The second was just flat out total PSE from jump street. I just felt more comfortable with her the second time, as she treated me like she knew me for 10 years upon our second meeting, even though we just met 6 months previously or so. With Kimmy, and it may have been her style, her look, her demeanor/personality (or possibly all three) but all I wanted was a GFE style date and she happily obliged. When I tried to make plans to see her a second rime, she had just stopped seeing fans, from what I was told by the now defunct agency. Not sure if this helps you any, but the only way of knowing for sure is to try it, at least once. I would see another porn star for sure, but if would have to be someone I would really want to see. I think April and Kimmy ruined me for all other porn stars quite possibly. lol.
These days a movie star or porn star just means someone who was in front of the camera and who isn't just an extra. . Of course providers lucky enough to get a porn role exploit that fact for PR. I think the limiting factor on providers doing porn movies is showing their face. Many providers walk amongst us in our communities and don't need the hassle/judgement of being identified among their extended families, neighbors etc.
Yea, there are quite a few providers these days who shoot a couple amateur sex scenes, upload it themselves on all the porn sites, put out a few ads claiming to be a porn star and attempt to charge a premium rate.
Now, I'm not saying anyone in this this thread has done that...
I mentioned in a thread response the “Porn Star” label that is being used all the time.
To me you’re a “Porn Star” if you have a bunch of movies under your belt and that you carry them. Credentials…. You are not a Porn “Star” if you have a scene in a movie. You are not a Porn “Star” if you have a OF account. Brandi Love is a “Porn Star”. Julia Ann is a “Porn Star”.
Does that mean that Tim Robbins was a “Movie Star” when he was in Top Gun? How about Brad Pitt when he was in Less than Zero? Matt Damon in Field of Dreams? They all had an “acting” scene. These are all “Stars” in the way they grown in the business and actually became “Movie Stars”. You think they were walking around labeling themselves as “Movie Stars” at the time?
Like a “Movie Star”…. A “Porn Star” is decided by the public…. Not by the advertiser.
It’s like giving yourself your own nickname…. Example: George taking on “T-Bone” (Inside joke and those that get it, bonus points)
So what’s your thoughts and what would you pay when one puts their own label as a “Porn Star”? Thoughts and let’s take this train to the wreck…
