 This one time (back in the 90s) I called an agency ***yep dumb and horny***  The guy on the phone told me he had an "exotic" girl from Canada.  Said she was a Black/Asian or some shit.    
   
 Chick arrives at my apartment.  Yep, you guessed it some ghetto bitch from the hood.  Then she takes my credit card calls it in and does the carbon copy thing (for you old timers).  
   
 Then she turns right around and says "Oh I don't take dates with black guys".  Bitch got me good - eh?  
   
 For years I refused to even admit to myself I got scammed.  See typical dumb ass man.  Google dumb ass man and you will see my picture circa 1996.  
   
 But guess what ho jokes on you.  While your dumbass is probably running around doing the same dumb shit.  I live nice and comfortable in the burbs  
   
 So the next time I hear about a Provider getting scammed I think I will pass on the empathy.

In addition to TER we have, backchanneling, other review sites, Google (you will be surprised what comes up, Tineye, Google images, verification site (Yes they screen both ways), and common sense. There is more but I am not going to put a tutorial on how to invade a providers personal data. FAct is the information is out there on both sides should one not be too lazy to look.

As for the risk, It is higher for the ladies. They have just as few resources than a hobbyist happen  to have to take care of things after the fact. But on average they are physically weaker, exposed to more risk (they see many more clients then we see providers), more effort from LE per individual, and fact is many more end up beaten, raped or dead. My own wife has been raped.

1) I  screen properly and have never been scammed.
2) You do not have to be "dumb and horny" to call an agency.  You just have to be smart enough to know which agency to call.
3) Anyone stupid enough to give his credit card to someone he just met deserves to be ripped off.
