People already know that you were recently involved in a bunch of drama on the Carolina Board and another popular site where your regular girl threatened you when you tried to see someone she didn't like. And then SHE was called out when she fucked with one person too many and tried to threaten them/extort money from them.

But I'm sure your original post has nothing to do with any of this, or that you were finally reported to the blacklist sites?

I know I could probably find this somewhere but if I wanted to change my handle and keep all the info associated with my handle now is that possible?

I know I can write something under an alias if I ever felt I needed to do something like that but I am wondering if I could change shifterp to shifterc and still be able to log into my info as shifterp?

I think it should be easy, but probably not allowed with out starting over? As after rushing in to ter to post reviews I have thought of better handels to use, my real handel is my nick name it still does provide me with total anonymatiy. Go Terps! I'm a Maryland boy.

I really like Handel.  He's my favorite composer.  I may even use his name as a handle.

MP67 is just a shortening of my old handle. Get a hold of admin and they'll take of it for you.

It's common for others to abbreviate our handles, so we shortened them. Everyone was calling us that anyway, so it made sense.

Look at LP, GaG, RG, JG, so on and so forth. These guys aren't changing their names, but you can be sure who they're talking about when they use these abbreviations.

But you're right in that there is nothing valuable in a handle. Just a fucking name on a fuck board.

Nothing shady about a friend who has been on the sidelines for awhile and asking me if I knew if he could re-name his handle. I am not really sure about his reasons and did not feel the need to ask, just figured asking on this board I might be able to get the answer for him. Sorry if the simple truth is not as sexy as some kind of a slick deep dark conspiracy but the truth is usually never as exciting as imagining what might be, what could it be? I wrote under the same handle I have always had and figure as long as I am hobbying it won't change.

The greatest thing of all is if anyone reads all the responses I got "yes you can", "no, you can't" and some other stuff thrown in not related to what I asked at all! What a world we are living in!  LOL

Pretty shady?  Ladies shed names like new moons, and it's rarely questioned.  If every lady that changed her stage name was no longer frequented by gents, there'd be a decided narrowing of the field.

Maybe they all NCNS'd somebody or did something "shady".

The old one is lost, but if you want to change it, why would you care about that?

When I first signed up and chose a handle I didn't think things through and used something that might be recognizable to others.  When I found out that Googling that handle led to the chat boards, I changed it promptly.  I sent an email to Admin and it was quite easy.

Damn. So anytime you use a handle to respond it shows up on google or any other search engine. Is there no privvacy?

It is unfortunate, IMHO, that you cannot create a new handle entirely, especially  if you could retain credit for your reviews, etc with a new handle.  I have found that one can accumulate a certain amount of unfortunate baggage by letting some providers know too much about you.  It has definitely inhibited my review process in the past, as I have posted.
