Okay, so I had pink eye for about two days (finally cured up) but only got grief from a gentleman after I told him I could not see him due to said illness.
Instead of saying "get better' or anything sympathetic to the cause, I am told that I am a great source of disappointment. Right, because, really I wanted to get a contagious virus *not*. Why the rudeness? I thought a provider indicating that she's protecting her health, as well as that of a guest's was considered a thoughtful act. I normally don't let things ruffle my feathers, but such inconsiderate, rude manners won't get very far.

than pink eye. If he chose to see it only as an inconvenience to HIM, you're better off not seeing him. He would likely be even more inconsiderate in person. Just move on, and don't let him bother you. It's not with the effort it takes to be pissed off about it.

It might be just as important to list him
as a possible health risk .Does appear that
the man isn't practicing health if it was only
conjunctivitis ( which is contagious ) I would
be concerned of his reaction if someone told him
that her kitty was sick. Would he take her
anyway telling her its ok just slap on a raincoat?

First let me say i'm sorry to hear you were not well and hope you are on the road to recovery if not already fully recovered.

I must take exception to one thing you said.
any guy who gave you grief because of it is NOT a gentleman.

As for those ruffled feathers if ya ever get to Joisey perhaps I could gently smooooooth them out.

You were Not being truthful and got a better offer...You never know what people are thinking...he was looking forward to seeing You and now You are sick...whenever I am Not feeling well or my Aunt Flo shows up...I let the guys know and then put it on them...if You still want to see me Great....if Not I understand....that way they know without a doubt...that I am being truthful...it's to bad it has to be that way...but it is what it is...and btw...You did do the right thing :)

should have...it's to bad...but the reality is...when You read the boards guys are complaining of NC/NS or they were canceled on or they suddenly can Not get in touch with the provider...however it is a two way street...and I think the guys forget they do it to us as well...so then You don't know what to believe...the way I see it...if I am upfront with the gentleman and give them the choice as to whether they still want to see me....and then they do...and they get there...lol...and say Holy Shit You really do have Pink eye...it's on them and all the roses will stay with me...even though You know as well as I do...they Will leave...I always try to create a win-win situation...so I would then try and make it up to them ;)

Does anybody remember the Naked i (Eye) Cabaret in Boston's Combat Zone? Their logo had a big ol' eye down there between the neon dancer's legs. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, the guy thought you meant you had pink "eye" and he took it as a come-on.

And I should know because I'm one. HOWEVER....

It wouldn't have stopped me from seeing a special lady. Actually, one I know had it and felt like shit she couldn't, or wouldn't, do *business* because of it.

She was looking out for her clients, which I can appreciate. But it wouldn't have stopped me, as long as she was fine with it.

Same holds true when a lady has her monthly visitor. Wouldn't be the first time I stuck it in or went down there with my face. WTF?!

Buncha fuckin' pussies out there. They need to act like they own a pair for fuck's sake.
