I have been asked by hobbyists if I would allow them to take pictures of me during sessions, not of my head though. (FIRST OFF, NO I AM NOT ALLOWING THIS.)LOL, like my tattoos won't make it obvious it is me.

My Question:
To the providers- How many of you allow pictures to be taken for your clients to keep them??

To the Hobbyists- How many of you actually got the provider to let you take the picture and you keeping them??

I might not be a "typical" case, since I started with nude modeling and I had a website and hundreds of images of me on the web, face included before I ever was an SP - so yes, obviously I do allow it!  I find it really popular among clients, maybe a third of them will take pictures or video at some point or another.  There are a fair number of SPs in this area (Toronto) who do videos on the side as well, but that's for commercial use and not with clients to my knowledge.

I think it adds a little something to the appointment, especially from the clients' point of view.  After all, what guy hasn't imagined himself in his very own porn flick?

I have to confess, I'm just a little curious as to what happens to the pictures and videos after - do they look at them often?  show them to friends?  hide and destroy them??

I've often wondered if a provider would let me video our session.  I get this fantasy in my head where I let the camara run during our sessions--moving for video and not for the pleasure, you know, move your body to get the details of the two bodies meeting!  

I'm not sure I would have the nerve to ask a provider.  It's funny how your SO kind of stays away from your adult collection.  "Oh yes dear, this is my video of Betty and the session I had with her!"

Talk about trying to bust yourself!

If you are in California it is actually Legal to do video ie. you are paying to do a porn video of yourself vs paying for sex.  Producer cannot be the model is the only stipulation.  So there must be a licence to sell the video with a name other than the "model" You take away the only copy, they need not be for distribution.  I for one am all for that!  Check me out as Jenni in San Diego and call when you are in my town for a very lively video of yourself.

Unless you plan a future in porn or rock n' roll don't do it.... My wife is still pissed off.... and we weren't married at the time.... and only a few of her friends have seen the loop...

My ATF and I e-mail fairly often (she is in another state) and one day I open my e-mail and I've got this "thought you'd enjoy this" from her ane it's pics of her doin another guy!

But you know actually, the most interesting part wasn't the hot sex, but having a record of the human interaction that went on, the talking and her becoming more comfortable.  Kind of like how a picture of a vacation is the best souvenir, because it helps you remember what it was like.

But in a fit of worry that my SO might find them, I destroyed both videos.  Not as tragic as it might sound, since after multiple viewings I had and still have every shot burned into my brain for instant reply any time I want, with much more detail than ordinary non-videotaped memories would provide.

Also, I paid double her normal rate in both cases.  Well worth it - and I'd do it again with the right lady.

to help the client remember you by?

Yeah...got a couple of those & I love it!  Doesn't have to be anything else for me to remember the things I remember happily.

I have taken digital pictures of at least half-a-dozen providers over the past year.  Some are merely nude shots, while others are full action photos.  I was pleasantly surprised at how many providers agreed to let me do this.  (Some were long-time providers, but others allowed me to take pictures on our first date.)  MQ

PS  No, I won't share these photos with anyone, and no, I won't tell you which providers allowed photos in the first place.  Ask the gal yourself!  The worst that can happen is that she says no.

There is a 5 year old video "out there" that "she" has. "She" being an AMP girl I help go indi 5-6 years ago. She hooked up the video, turned it on the bed, and let it run...

I never did get that thing...

Hopefully she tossed it after she got married.

I'm actually planning a Las Vegas Mixer with 5 other providers in two ajoining suites, which will include a photo shoot and videos. Our way of saying "Thanks for a Good Year & Let's Do it Again This Year" from us girls....including drinks, munchies(OK you guys..!!!) and Lots and Lots of other fun things are planned...*Drawings,Swing Club Trip, etc. So keep an eye out for more info.....YEEEHAW.!!!

I was with a provider that let you take picture (no holds barred).  The only stipulation was that it had to be with her camera.  She even let you take a picture of the "money shot" on the face.  Man, she was a special woman and a dream cum true!  Unfortunately she is retired.  Anyone want to take her place?

It is very cool to have pictures as souveniers but I know it's a slim chance to find a provider that would allow it (at the most, a non-action shot).  But if you find one, never let her go!

My ATF allowed it even when I was still just a customer.  Mostly regular photos, but also x-rated ones.  

Others have told me, "later, not while I'm still doing this job," or something similar.

I still remember the expression of the clerk in the 1hr photo when he handed me the pictures.

A few years after that, I saw her face on a pro-am porn video cover.  She was 6' tall with long legs.  Cost me a bundle for the photos and the session.

I have photos of 4 special ladies in casual clothes.  They had become my friends so it is easy to take casual pictures of them.

I have not asked any lady I saw for photos in the last few years.  Don't want to scare them or destroy the mood.

I'm not sure if you were implying that Providers aren't respectable and don't have lives. I'm hoping that's not the case. I have a wonderful, very full life and think I have a very respectable job, if I didn't, I would be doing something else. I'm sure I'm not the only provider that feels that way and lucky for you they do...otherwise you'd be stuck having your needs met by street hookers that need to be drugged to have sex with you. If you do think that way about our profession, then why would you even bother Hobbying...??? Just wonderin...Hummmm

A friend of mine has taped several encounters with ladies.  The first of which he pair extra ($20) for and the last three were secretly done.  The only way I even knew that he had them was that he showed them to me.  He doesn't show them around (in fact only he and I know that we are hobbyists).  I thought it was rather uncool to do that.  Wouldn't want it done to me.  Ladies, just one more thing to look out for.
