Men are very visual, and a bad visual is going to turn off a guy faster than misspellings or other problems.
Yes, I do look at all the photos, so make the all winners. Invest in a really good photog rather than do them yourself or done by someone who doesn't really know what they are doing.
Good lighting and good posing are the two biggest issues, but there are others.
And yes, revealing is better, but not the end-all and be-all. Sorry to have to sound shallow, but this really does matter.
A lack of good photos does hurt the "upscale" quotient, for sure.
Can you define what is considered revealing to you?
breasts, and midrift. If you aren't too shy, a shot of your kitty is always appreciated.
While some guys want that, it is on the internet forever and associated with an illegal activity and if you have another job, well I don't have to tell you what might happen.
The risk is yours to take.
To me revealing is breasts and or face, not necessarily totally nude. That is enough if you have different angles showing off your figure.
Also very, very important to me when looking over images is the face. If the whole face is blurred too much, it looks worse than if you had just cropped the face out. If you do not want to show the whole face, the best compromise I think is where you can clearly see the face just below the nose down (no blurring) and everything above the mouth is cropped out. That's enough to get a general sense of the shape of your face and your smile, but not enough that you can be recognized from it

Do you control your photo shoot or follow the guidance of the photographer?
How can you narrow down what to put in your gallery with so many to choose from? Preference or Random?
If you have less revealing photos like myself do you feel pressure to let it all hang out?
With the females, I have a tendency to take the lead and pretty much control the shoot myself with very little direction from the photographer. With the male, however, I told him exactly what I was looking for and let him do the leading. The results he produced were absolutely fantastic, and my shot with him was my best to date. Narrowing down what to put in my gallery is the hardest part, but I usually ask a few trusted friends (male and female alike) for their advice before making a final decision on which ones to post. You can always find something creative to do with the leftover photographs. Having less revealing photos doesn't put any pressure on me at all. Although I am a huge fan of tasteful nudes, I could never see myself letting it all hangout at a shoot. Personally, I'm only going to "let it hang all out" once BCD.
Which ad board are you on?
I worked as a professional photographer for 30 years, so photos and the quality of the photos mean a lot. When I see a site with photos obviously done by a pro, it tells me that the provider is serious about selling her service. Amatuerish photos suggest someone who's into the business part time, or maybe is just getting into it with no advertising funds.
A good photographer will pose the provider so as to show off all of her good attributes in the best way possible. I like to see at least a couple of photos that show important features (breasts, butts, etc). I was a little unpleasantly surprised to have a provider who had very oddly shaped droopy breasts. None of her photos showed her bare breasts. I just never removed her bra.
When you're buying a car, you're buying based on a number of thing, of which appearance is a major factor. Would you buy a car without being able to see good quality photos? Would you buy it if the manufacturer only showed photos taken with a cell phone in their ads?
I look at the pictures on a lady’s website first. I move on to the other details only if I like what I see. I want to see what your body looks like, but I don’t need raunchy pictures for that. In fact, they don’t even need to be R-Rated if done well by a professional.
In the ad, pictures need to match the copy. However you describe yourself; petite, tall, busty, blonde, etc., should be reflected in the pictures you choose. I see women describe themselves as petite all the time, but the pictures in the ad don’t provide any visual references. Or worse, describing themselves as blonde, but the pictures are of a brunette.
I have yet to see a lady describe herself as “trailer park trash”. You all say you are “upscale”. Having classy, professional pictures doesn’t bring you upscale clients. Your rate, screening requirements and reputation do that. You can put all the high-class sounding copy in your ad or website, but if you’re asking $300 an hour and your screening process consists of a single email, then you’re “affordable” and “convenient”
I'm still finding my feet with photos, so I completely depend on my photographer to be a good director. I need him (or her) to be able to pose me.
I will look through some magazines or websites and gather some poses I would like to try, and let the photog know what I like about them to try to reproduce them. I am a curvier lady so some poses aren't suitable for my figure, and I love when a photog can tell me that. Also love when they show me some shots along the way so I can make changes accordingly.
Because of my figure I think it is important to show it truthfully and tastefully. Many men love my shape, but for those who might not be a fan of larger curves, it is important they see that so they don't book a disappointing engagement. I have two nude photos but only one shows my behind. The other is taken of me beneath a sheet, and while a pretty photo, not one that tells a gent much about my figure. But other photos show all my curves, albeit clothed.
I am not interested in showing it all. If a gent needs to see it all before booking, there are plenty of ladies to accommodate that.
I started out with amateur photos, which are still on my site, but since having a session with a professional, I am probably not going to feature amateur photos on my site anymore. I will put some on my blog from time to time, because gents are always saying they appreciate candids.

The website is clear, easy to navigate and not burdened with flash graphics or other annoying web tricks.

I know women who have nothing but cell pics who do just fine at lower rates/higher volume. They have never had a website, but get a steady stream of business and reviews. If you're asking for double that, your image should match what you claim to be worth. I feel the same about a woman asking for a grand per date, who has a free website. It's a contradiction of her brand to do that, though I would not say it is wrong because if it works...it works.
As for showing it all...yep I do, because I don't show my face. I've read so many reviews where guys could not see a woman's breasts or kitty and were totally disgusted when she took her clothes off. Some men are turned off by certain types of nipples, and certain shapes of labias. One guy so eloquently (sarcasm) said, "Her vagina looked like chewed bubble gum, and not in a good way.
I prefer a mix of pro and candid shots. As far as what is showing, leaving much up to the imagination is good, however a few thrown in to show you aren't hiding anything is good too.
