How important are photos to you when you're searching for a provider.   Do you look for profession photos or does it matter..  I've been battling to do a photo shoot now since I've started and I've finally got the nerves to book a photoshoot.. (made sure this person isn't a photoshop happy photographer cause I'm not interested in fake photos)  

This subject probably has already been threaded as lot others repetitive threads but you thoughts would be appreciated.

IMHO, professional photos are not necessary. I tend to like photos that are clear and gives me a real sense of what the girl actually looks like. For example, just don't have boob shots or ass pics. I would prefer a variety of shots and angles of your whole body and face.  

If they are accurate - then very. They don’t have to be nude though it is nice!

If I don't like the look, I move on immediately. Gotta have unblurred face pics. Strongly prefer selfies and videos. Pro photos are ok, but bronze-skinned airbrushing is a giant red flag. Arm draped over the waist is a clear sign of a muffin top. Pic shots that are flattering, but honest. A lot of guys here don't mind a mature woman with a few flaws, but if they're expecting a 10 and get a 7, it can be a real boner killer.

 
Everything else (price, services, natural vs. enhanced, screening, reviews, etc...) comes later.

I want to get some idea as to your size, and if I can see your face, all the better.

Pro photos are best, but a few gals can take a decent selfie.

If you don't have any photos at all, I'm gone.  I like a mix of pro and selfies, the latter so I can see what you really look like. A video is fine, too.  I really like the new trend of girls posting gifs in their ads.

Hey Gemma,  I have always hated photo shoots so I got a little stand and remote shutter for my iphone - and some free photo editing software - and I've been able to take and edit my own pictures since.  I'm happy with the results and have yet to hear any complaints.

Pro pictures can be more effective with me, but I have also seen good quality selfies.  The key thing is that I want some (most?) of the pics to be representative of who I will meet BCD. Glamour shots are great but I do not expect someone to spend 6 hours in a spa / makeup / hair stylist chair duplicating that just for me. Glamour + realistic is a good mix.

Size! Good point, mrfisher. When I cross reference a pic to her stats (website or Profile), it is interesting how often I guess wrong. I see looooong legs and a leeeeeeaaaan torso and loooooong hair and I'm thinking 5'10"? 5'8"? Then the stats reveal 5'0" !!

In addition to watermarking, maybe Providers should include a cartographers scale bar on their pics. Kind of like "1/4 inch = 100 miles".  Or include one pic holding a ruler in your .... someplace. Or maybe include some other object by which to judge size.

... photos are well composed, well lit, and well edited, then I prefer professional photos. Of course, there might be a little bias on my part. :P

Selfies do serve a purpose if done well, but probably not for an ad or personal website, IMHO. It could give potential clients a sense of a provider's disregard or nonchalant attitude for her professionalism/business.

But if possible, I think pics that reflect your persona are greaaaaat !

I like professional shots because I am buying into a fantasy, but a few selfies to add a little reality will keep me from being disappointed when I arrive.

I just said on my twitter that I need to post more pictures of me fully clothed...But a girl loves her panties and bra...especially when the bra is the first to come off....COMFY

This  cracks me up. I'm SUPER petite and try to put that out there.  
This reminds me of a selfie I took next to my door and the doorknob is like armpit height. So silly Even still, once the heels come off guys are still usually shocked at how tiny I am.

Pictures play a huge role in this industry. I have a photo shoot every 3 to 4 months with some wonderful photographers. With photoshop yes it does occur but to fix a few things and not overdo it is very important. I take my own pictures here and there and post on my ads but have mostly professional pictures done. I actually enjoy shooting as well. To me it is super sexy to get ready for a shoot and wear sexy lingerie and get all dolled up. Hope it goes great for you.
