Plus, the price element may be a bit attractive as well (doubt it anyone charging more than 300 p/h can get away with that). I have seen it too and I ask myself the same question. Also, I have seen some brand new reviewers writing about those providers (perhaps they never realized the lady had bad reviews on the first place and decided to join TER and let others know about the bad situation).
Either way, all this can be avoided if everyone sticks to well reviewed providers with impeccable reputation. Reviews are a great way to stay safe and spend your resources on someone who will make you really happy and deliver as promised.
WELL SAID !!!! the review process is amazing. It is a way for both the provider and gentleman. it enables them to see what they are going to get out of there time together. Just last night I was contacted by a gentleman and shortly after went threw his reviews. I had one review for a couple months. STUNNING review, and well deserved if I do say so myself. HOWEVER, I didn't see much traffic coming from TER to my website with just that review.
But, I recently got a shitty review. Like, embarassing and objectively speaking (or as objective as I can be) kinda mean. I noticed a huge spike in traffic though directly from TER after getting it, and have had a few clients even mention it in their initial contact to me. Of course, every client I've seen since has been extremely satisfied, including those who mentioned the shitty review.
