How could this have been handled better?confused_smile

Here's the situation. A while back I saw an agency provider in a big Eastern city. The incall was a nice private apartment, not a hotel. The girl was hot, I had a great time, so I went back two weeks later for more of the same, same time (hour and a half) same price. The second session was going just fine until about 45 minutes in her phone started going off. We ignored it but it kept blowing up, over and over, and I finally told her to answer because it was distracting both of us. Turns out it was the agency; some kind of problem with the landlord, no details given. Needless to say we cut the session short. I got dressed and got outta there, halfway expecting to have a cop asking for ID in the lobby - there wasn't, but there was some other drama going on, but I sure as hell didn't hang around to find out.

I sent a WTF? text to the agency, being more than a little annoyed about paying full freight for half the time (and blue balls!). They apologized and made excuses. I asked if I could at least get a discount on a rescheduled appointment, which they said they'd work something out with me. A few days later I emailed about another appt. and asked about it. Now they had a different story - gas leak in the building (though there was no sign of city or gas co personell at the building at the time), nothing they could do, noth their fault, and oh BTW, if I wanted to see that provider again, her price had gone up by $150.

Am I an idiot for thinking this could or should have been handled differently? I haven't been back - not that I wouldn't like to see the provider again (as I said, she was great), but I felt like I couldn't trust the agency.

Sounds like everything went south once the phone was answered.

Unfortunately it isn't really realistic in this day and age to turn the phone completely off and who knows what was really going on, it may have very well saved his ass that he did get out of there, but the agency is now trying to play the issue down.

But the agency itself is doing a suck ass job on customer service and needs to honor their obligation. Doesn't matter whose fault it is, they accepted payment for a time frame that was not made good on and need to honor it.

just too damn annoying and it drowns them out.

She won't turn her phone off, so it's a moot issue to even ask. Indy providers have the advantage of doing that, or to set all of our tunes to vibrate. I keep one contact on loud because if my child were ever hurt, I would not give a flying fk about the d*ck in my mouth or what he thought about me answering a call from my parents. I don't see guys who lack common sense and compassion, so it has never been an issue. In your case, don't use the same agency again because most of them ALL have this same practice.

you should have never told her to answer the phone..the phone should not ever even exist till the session is over.it could have been a valid excuse or it could have been bullshit..there is no way to know..you got shorted..i have never had any agency give me grief..you have to choose the reputable ones..

Agency 101......
when working for an agency, They are the girls safety net. you can't turn the phone off.. sometimes clients are late and when working for an agency you are supposed to make IT happen on the dot and not later.. there is some play room but ...

And, YES,. the agency/Hotel might have had a gas leak/emergency or whatever,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
sometimes shit/life happens..

I know you pay for an hour and you expect to get it all but if you have had a good time enjoy it
and if it becomes a habit then you have every right to complain..............

Jessica,

It's the 2nd visit that he's concerned with. No, he did not enjoy that 2nd visit due to the fact it was cut short (for whatever reason) and he was left with "blue balls". Not a good thing.

Would you pay a auto body shop full price if they only did the work on half of your vehicle? No? Same concept applies here.

These kind of stories are why I avoid most agencies like the plague!  You pay an additional fee, they are usually on the girls about being pretty strict about the timing and stuff like this!  Obviously, sticking with independents (or girls who also book directly) can narrow your demographic but for me, it's been the way to go!

I've went with a few agencies years back and I can honestly say I have had A LOT more fun with an independent lady.  Our time was more GFE and there was no up selling, at least with the ladies I met.

Here's how I see it. The agency selects the incall; therefore, they are responsible for the security of the incall. Okay, so shit happens... what it felt like was someone (at the agency, not the provider) fucked up; either they overbooked the space, they didn't get the rent out on time, etc. They didn't have their story straight to begin with - if there's a gas leak, say so at the time, don't cook it up two days later as an excuse not to have to work something out for the future. I wasn't demanding free service, I was cooperative with the circumstances, because this was a nice provider and I didn't want this to be a problem for her either. Had they said something like, "we'll give you a session or two at the original price" instead of blowing me off with a lame excuse, then jacking the price, I would have been happy. As it was, I gotta remember that this is not exactly a business that has its ethics reviewed by the BBB.

Half way through your hour 7 a half is 45 minutes...  45 minutes is 15 minute warning on a one hour.  Agency screwed up he schedule.  Frankly agnecies are not good...  nor some gals...  at changing their routine.
Jacking her price...  and no grandfathers rate...  time to move along.

You got halfway into your appointment, and you got shorted.

It doesn't matter what the issue was.  Part of the risk of being an agency is that you have to make good when there is a problem on YOUR end.  If there are with the landlord or the building or the provider, that's on the agency.  They take a 50% or greater cut in some cases, and they expect to get that for free?

Every once in a while you gotta earn that money.  This is one of those times.

post is worthless.

Could it have been handled better?  WTF?? You're not really looking for an answer here because nobody in their right mind is going to respond in any way, shape, or manner in support of the agency's handling, AND the ONLY real take on it is that they owe you a discount on the next one.

Therefore, this is just a bitching post which is useless without naming the agency.

Good to see you back. We could use a little more logic and common sense posts on this board. It has fallen substantially in recent weeks.

And it's really not necessary! I used two agencies in Boston for years and ultimately gave-up on one of them because of the annoying "ten minutes to go" phone call that they used to make to their girls all the time.  The place that I stuck with left the responsibility up to the girls to call in within ten minutes of the appointment ending.  Of course, this worked because they treated their girls like thinking adults and not idiots but also because they didn't book back-to-back appointments...

There are some good agencies out there but there are also some horrible ones with a lot of really bad customer service bordering on rip-offs!
