Phoned a girl at 3pm. I'd clearly woken her up but she was happy to talk to me. We arranged a booking for 7pm at her place that evening.

At 6.30pm I got a text saying she'd been back to sleep and only just woken up! and could I make it 8pm.

At 7.30pm I got a text saying “I'm not really in the mood tonight, maybe another time.”

I was a bit pissed off so I never re-booked. A month later we met at a Meet & Greet. She was very apologetic, we laughed the incident off and have stayed friends ever since.

Re: Excuses, Excuses, Excuses

Had a woman tell me she had a migraine an hour before we were to meet. She needed the day to recover. I could hear a guy in the background. I told her it was that day for me or I'd have to wait until she came to the city again next year. She holds the phone so the reciever is mostly covered. I could hear mumbling. She comes back on and asks if I can come by in 3 hours. Wow! Her migraine went away pretty quick!

TSA jerk won't let me board plane because my passport has some spots on it.

She had to travel long distance back home and get her birth certificate.

The next day she tried her passport again and got right on the plane.

TSA:  Grrrrrrrr!

Oh, Please...

This is a high drama vocation.  I never believe any excuses.  I accept them and say, "Oh, I'm so sorry", but I don't believe any them.

Are you kidding?  The same woman in a two month time frame will be in a car accident, have a sick relative, a cranky landlord, and family emergency...I mean really, who's buying all this crap?

I've rarely met a provider who didn't have some sort of drama going on.  It's just part of the drill.

I had seen this client a few times.  He calls me 20 minutes prior to our appointment and tells me his sister was in an accident and he has to go straight to the hospital to give blood for her because she is AB Negative and so is he.  What he forgot to remember is he told me his sister lives in Italy!  So, I called him on it and said "hhmmmm... last week you told me you were going to visit your sister in Italy soon."  LOL  He then says he is going to fly in a private jet to Italy!  Riiigghht!  Too Funny.  I never saw him again after that.  

A potential client told me he snorted too much cocaine....

...and therefore had to cancel because he was afraid his 'thing' wasn't going to work.

I was at a hotel that was clearly visible from the interstate right by the airport. The lady is an hour and a half late. I gave her directions from the airport which she said was 20 minutes away and said she knew exactly where the hotel was. When she arrived she said her GPS took her a round about way, come on, look around and see the damn hotel in front of you.

here is a good one. Set up an early AM date with someone I had seen before. I know that she has another date the previous night so she already has a room. Check out time is not until noon so we have several hours to play.

I arrive at the designated time and call. Goes right to voice mail. I try several times to text, call and e-mail. An hour later as I am getting ready to hit the road, she calls and asks "are we still on for this AM?. I said yes, I tried to call, text and e-mail. She claims she did not get any of the messages.

So I ask, where are you, at the hotel. "oh no I checked out early this morning, that is my routine, I always go back to the hotel and check out first thing in the AM." I reminded her that we had an early date and where exactly were we supposed to meet? She had no clue what the probem was but said it would be hard for us now to get an early check in at this early hour.

I tried to explain that she already had a room and that we could have used that room but she insisted that she always checks out early, I decided it was useless to try to get her to understand the problem and just said, well we can't get a room at this hour, maybe we can try another time. To this day I still can't believe she could not understand that we could have used her room. I have not contacted her since.
