I’ve noticed that a lot of people talk about preferences as if they’re fixed like once you know what you like, that’s it. But from conversations I’ve seen and heard, tastes seem to evolve quite a bit over time.
Some people say they used to focus heavily on looks, specific body types, or certain services, and later realised that connection, energy, or attitude mattered more. Others say their interests shifted as they became more comfortable exploring, or simply learned what actually works for them in practice versus in theory.
Age, experience, confidence, even stress levels seem to play a role. What felt exciting years ago might feel less important now, and something that once seemed uninteresting can suddenly make sense in the right context.
It made me curious how common that is.
So I’m wondering:
Have your tastes changed over time, and if so, what do you think influenced that change the most experience, confidence, circumstances, or something else?
