I posted a bad date situation on the Los Angeles boards yesterday telling the tale of my rip off date with Samantha. Had I not paid in advance I would definitely not have paid in the end.

I've been thinking about our situation and what would have happened in all most any other industry if bad service was provided.  We pay up front.  Had I gone to a restaurant and gotten a cockroach in my meal (which BTW actually happened to me..lol) I could walk out and refuse to pay.

I know that there are enough bad guys out there that would take advantage.  Probably no provider should consider waiting until the end to get the gift from a new client.  Having said that, however, I have been with many who have not said a word.  I've just left the envelope in view before we got under way and to my knowledge they never looked until I was gone.

Bless all the fine ladies out there who help us through the day.

I know lots of providers that would be willing to give you your money back if you weren't fully satisfied.  I know one or two that will even say 'you gave me too much money for what you got.'   Sadly .. these kind of decent people that would never GIVE you bad service to start with, so it's a Catch-22.

But then ... this is the reason for TER in the first place, isn't it?   You took a hit for the team and the team will repay HER by considering your review ... hopefully the team will repay YOU by not posting artificially inflated reviews of the next girl you choose.

It is not a coincidence that the ladies I regulary see do not mention the "business" side when I visit. The leaving of the envelope on a nightstand or end table in plain view is all that needs to be "said", in my opinion. I've seen providers that would ask for the funds up front and count it in front of my face. Suffice it to say, that that was the once and only visit with those providers from me.

Just a note, why shouldn't providers count their money upfront?  Why do clients find this so offensive?  People make mistakes all of the time either giving 20 bucks too little or 20 bucks too much and either way I let the client know.  When it comes down to it this is a business and we should make sure that all of the money is out of the way so we can relax and enjoy.  And we don't really know you so why should we trust you when it comes to the money.  There are plenty of people out there who will hand you 20 dollars short and hope that they are going to get away with it.  I have had very regular long term customers try to screw me over one way or another with money.  Its not like a waitress will just take a customers payment without ever counting it, just based on trust.  Hell no, she counts the payment for every bill to make sure it is correct.  Plus we are talking about a much larger amount of money then a $15 dollar check and a much more personal and intimate transaction.  There is no offense meant by taking care of the business side and protecting ourselves, so why does this seem to bother clients?

with name and number and so on, so that we who are believers in payback can book false appts with this gal....EOM
