I see some of the providers websites, usually rare-companion or escortwww, that have password protected photos in the gallery. Why the hell do they put these in there in the first place?

If you don't want everyone to see them don't put them out there. Many of them say they will only give you the password after you have seen them. That does me no good, I'd like to see the pics before I decide how to spend my money.

It's fully the lady's prerogative what to show and what not to show. I have no problems with those who don't show faces or blur them out or don't show full nudity as long we can get an accurate picture of them from they do show.

Just makes no sense to me to put links on the gallery page to pictures that prospective clients can't see. Maybe it's a web page template issue since both rare-companion and escortwww sites are the ones that also ask if you want to add the site to your favorites.

Oh well, guess I'll quit being a curmudgeon now and end my rant.

I haven't found any that won't give you a password upon a polite and reasonable request, and with little or no screening.

A lot of ladies have a few photos you can view without a password on those sites and also
some with password protection because they want discretion, someone who is serious and not a pic-collector

IF you truly wanted to see her, you would take the time out to contact her, introduce yourself and ask for the password...
ps......password protection on those sites is not a template issue, it is a CHOSEN one that the provider decides to have

All the photos I have up now are public. However, many of my regular clients have stated they would like to have more photos available to browse when we are apart. In addition, once a prospective client is screened I would be comfortable giving them access to photos that I would not put out for the general public. That is why password-photos seem like a good idea to me. If there is a choice between not having any of those photos up, or having them up with  password that is not hard to get if you are seriously interested in the gal, which would you prefer? I have some photos that show my face and my breasts that I would never put on my site, but am considering adding them with a password. Why not just send them by email? Because once they are out of your hands, someone could edit them, share them, mis-use them.. if they are protected on a website, no one can use them without your consent- they can view them but cannot copy them for personal use/misuse. I personally think the password feature is great and look forward to using it soon!~

Unfortunately, there are ways to save pics, even the ones from sites that claim that their photos are protected.  A computer friend showed me how to get through the loop holes.  So remember that any pics you post on any site has the potential to be saved.  I would recommend not posting those kind of pics on your website, but perhaps have a different site that isn't associated with your work if you are worried about your identity being associated with being an escort.  If it's having nude pics of you floating around the internet that you are worried about, I wouldn't post any anywhere.  

I have no face pics up because I had to learn the hard way about folks recognizing me and not being very discreet about it in public.  Even had one stalker who I had never seen, but knew who I was and I had to relocate. Had another person recognize me outside the hobby and tried to expose me.  I understand both sides of the coin in having face pics or not.  For the time being, I have good reviews that state that there isn't anything grotesque about my appearance, so I feel comfortable that I can still get business having discreet pics.  

I also understand the concept behind having more revealing and fun pics to share with  previously seen clients that I feel are trustworthy, discreet and responsible and I have gotten a chance to meet with several times.  I have a group that I send out invites to such friends to have more detailed information about my travels and some fun pics to keep everyone up to date.  I even have a different alias so it's not tied in with this name.  That way, if someone wanted to log in and show someone else my pics, it doesn't mean I'm an escort.  I'm just a free spirited gal who has fans

I fully understand the discretion issue and like I said in my original post it is completely the ladies prerogative on what to show. I can see why faces are blurred for privacy and safety issues.

Apparently I've just found the ladies who won't share the password when requested. I'm heading to San Diego next month and found a provider I was a really interested in but half the photos on her site were protected. I sent a very cordial email telling her I was visiting soon and would like to see her while I was there and asked for the password as well. Her response was see me first then you can see the pics.  I've had a couple other ladies tell me the same thing. I figured after being 0 for 3 on requesting passwords that it was the norm. I never ask the ladies a second time I just continue my research and find someone else. It's not that a big a deal I just find it odd to put those on the site.

Seems to me, if a lady is going to have private pics to only show to those she has seen it would be better not to have it in the regular gallery and just send a direct link to a hidden page for those clients.

It is the choice of the provider. Respect it,that is all you can do really.

I too have a password protected part on my site where people can find more pictures. The reason i have set up a password protected page is because i share my thoughts with gents too. All of this info is like a puzzle and someone from my day job/life would easily be able to put it together.
I don't want that trouble because people outside this 'world' don't really understand it properly.
