I know that it's against the rules to post stuff about a banned provider. But here's the situation. Someone's reviews disappeared so when you search them you get:
ZZZZ's Profile Provider information is no longer available on TER.
There may be a legit reason (and I can think of some) for that or it could be that they were banned for some reason. Her website and ads are still up.
I couldn't post "Anybody know what happened to ZZZZ?" to the regional board but the Moderator wasn't sure if she was banned or not. He suggested posting to the Reviewers Only board but I'm not on that list. He suggested PMing someone who recently reviewed her but I don't remember any of those names.
Any other solutions to the this problem? What do you suggest? (It's NYC region if anyone has specific ideas about that.) (One possibility is to slip in a hint of who she is without mentioning her name. Would that be allowed? "What happened to the reviews of that fast, expensive sports car?")
go ahead and make the post would be my suggestion, if it gets pulled it gets pulled
I am assuming you are wanting to see this woman - and you say her ad is still up - why don't you call or email her and ask what's up? My guess is if she's still in the biz the de-listing will be an interesting tale she'll be happy to tell . . . .
When your post is denied, you can contact the moderator to ask why. Although he didn't know one way or the other (banned / not banned) he decided to be more cautious and not post it.
A thread was pulled recently on the Chicago board about a banned provider who is now very UTR. (Her agency screwed up). Better to let things be even if you have current info.
