As long as your reviews are attached to your phone number I can't see you having any issue. I don't pay much attention to area codes or phone numbers for that matter. I do pay attention to a provider's numerical scores on her TER reviews.
what city your in. When I'm looking for a quick, convenient hookup, I look for at the area code, but if I have plenty of time on my hands I look to lady's in a broader area. But, my typical search is on TER, looking under "New Reviews," and I'm first looking under the area she's located, not her area code, because with cellphones that can be quite confusing. Then if she looks promising, I put her on "My favorite" list. Then I move on and look at the lady's in the surrounding areas. It would seem to me to be best to have an area code listed that's going to attract the most attention vs. being more accurate regarding geography.
I say that because 334 is not one of the areas that is a defined region on TER (wish TER would require the state as a field in the review). When I travel to those types of areas I plug in the area code. So if I were headed for Alabama I would punch in the area codes. If you were in a city that has a defined region here such as Atlanta, I wouldn't bother.
However, I would also check various boards, escort malls, and verification services.
The issue is what area code does the first reviewer add to that field. The lady's phone number? That would be completely unreliable with mobile phones. The location he met the lady? What about areas with multiple area codes? There are at least 5 in the DC area ... more if you include Baltimore. So in dense urban areas it's a pretty useless criterion.
in the smaller cities. Or, other cities. However, in a larger city that is not much of a thing at all.
It really should not matter, what with a bunch of reviews and living in a larger city.
Although, consider yourself luck I guess that you do not have 702 as your area code (Las Vegas). Most areas on the East Coast especially DC, are extremely cautious of visiting unknown touring companions with 702 phones and rightfully so.
Vegas is known unfortunately as the Rip-Off capital of the world. lol
so I search by region. I scan new reviews by area code but also anything to give a location clue, ads sometime trace to a nearby city. I also wish there was a better way. skb
Because if I want to see you, I'll go off your site first. I'll email you from that, or PM you from here. If we click, we'll give each other our phone numbers and maybe talk, if I'm lucky.
Then, I'll have the honor of building your trust and go from there.
It's ultimately up to you.
Don't sweat the small shit, lady!
If your business is suffering, it'll come to you how to fix it. Sooner than you think!
In an area too small to rate it's own board, many hobbyists, myself included do a review search by area code. With Atlanta having literally thousands of providers, you are doing yourself a disservice by not giving your rural Alabama potential clients every opportunity to connect with you.
You should find a huge upswing on your business coming from TER once you change your number. Instead of being one of over 5000 Atlanta providers reviewed on TER, you will join a scant 23 other providers within the area code 334 of which only 4 have been reviewed this year.
Thank you very much guys. I"m not suffering by any means, but always looking to improve marketing.
The suggestion was made to me by a hobbyist last week who said he found me by accident and if I had a 334 area code he would have found me long time ago.
So I've already got it in the works to get a 334 number!
No with cell phones and overlays area codes are useless as a search criteria. A zip code would be better but even in a large metro area like LA that is useless too. Next thing is to post on the local discussion board!
