Does white listing actually mean a shit to the boys? Or to the ladies that post them?

I mean really. We review the ladies, and some guys go by this. Some even go against the norm, if they're mediocre, think it'll be different with them, and make a date anyway.

Just curious. Just because a guy is 'white listed', does that make her want to see a certain guy?

Shit. The lady could've done this under duress for all we know. A guy would threaten her with a bad review, blast her ass thru backchannel, whatever.

Just wondering if it's part of the 'game', or does anyone actually take it seriously?

a few of the providers I have seen used WL to screen me because they knew (or knew of) the provider who did the WL. That was all the screening they did.

First lady might've felt she 'had' to white list you because who you are. Whatever.

So, second lady gets a hold of the first to see if you're cool. First says so because she doesn't want to hurt her business. If she bashes you, you will know it, and do the same in return.

Know what I'm sayin'?

Hence my question. How relevant is white listing?

If provider A decides provider B's white listing is enough to go on, that's kinda fucked up, in my opinion.

Who knows why provider B posted a white list?

Cuz you're a stud? Or you tipped her twice her rate? Or you felt your appointment sucked ass, it was her fault, and she better not say shit?

Just wondering as to the integrity of the white listing process and any other thoughts on it.

Maybe just maybe provider "A" takes provider "B's" whitelisting as "good enough" because they actually know each other, and trust each other?  Nah, that could never be...

Your fears of the whitelist being misused, can't references be just as misused?
Can't reviews be as misused?

Can't a client out of fear of being blacklisted, getting a bad reference, getting talked about on a Ladies' Board, etc. write a good review, or reply favorably to her ad, or say good things to guys that PM him?
Do you trust all reviews just because they are there?
Are there reviews by some guys you trust more than others?
Are there guys you consider a "friend" and if he gives a lady a good review, or posts something complimentary in reply to her ad you believe him without interrogating him on why he did so, and if he were coerced into doing so?

I like to think maybe, just maybe, the ladies know it is their money, well being and Hell even their lives on the line and don't just look at a fuckin' list and see a guy, unless they know and trust implicitly the lady that put that name on the list...

but maybe you are right...
maybe the ladies are stupid
and just look at a name on a list with no other feedback and just run with it...
but I find your absolute belief that that is the case sad as well.

Are some client manipulative?
Hell yes.
The day the whitelist became available there was one guy that had (if memory serves) over 20 whitelist listings because he called every lady he could think of and asked her to put him on the list...
but I would hope that isn't the norm, and that ladies do contact the ladies that put a guy on the whitelist and get more info than a name.

Of course, I also know of ladies that ask clients to reply to their ads, write new reviews etc, putting those clients on the spot as much as a guy asking for whitelisting does.

Nothing on this site is a guarantee...
not a review,
not a whitelisting,
not a reference,
not backchannel questions,
NOTHING!!!

It can all be manipulated, and should all be taken with a fuckin' shaker of salt,
and the only people whose word you should trust are those you literally trust in the 3D world.

I have never asked for a white listing but thats understandable, since I haven't groveled since eighth grade.
I was flattered when I received a couple white listings, because it means the provider doesn't mind giving a go ahead reference for me, if she receives a inquiry.
I don't read anymore than that into it.

But, you think there are some 'gents' that do indeed get white listed for no good reason other than being nefarious and malicious?

And some ladies will do so for their own sake?

Come on.

Yes. I know for a FACT that a couple of gents in my region strongarm/extort, etc.... knowing full well the impact their review and rep may have upon a ladies business.

It sickens me that some asshole would do that. Just be a gentleman(well, as much as my ass can be), respectful, clean, and appreciate that a lovely lady would want to spend time with us.

And BTW, Webbie, I met you once. And I know I didn't put on the best impression. But I was just a 'little' cute?! ;)

If a gentleman contacts me last minute gives me references and is white listed he has a little more credibility than someone who is not.

I will be honest, I take white listing very seriously. I only do it upon request, and have guidelines. Meaning the gentleman had "no issues" with me nor any ot.her ladies. A lady can be sure those I whitelist are 100% on the up and up and have maintained good standing in the community.

But I'm not talking about turning a buddy of mine onto a dealership that will 'take care of him' because said dealership is one of my accounts and they dig me.

I'm talking about a meeting between a guy and a girl, and the guy might be shady. He has white lists, but not necessarily under the best of circumstances.

You know what? I give up.

Was looking for a 'if this would happen, that would happen' deal, meaning, what would you ladies do.

It's apparent, and I have my answer. And it's fucking sad.

To answer your original question I belive  a provider would black list someone before she would give a white list under duress.
Its only my opinion and it might not be right. If I was a woman I would be a lesbian, so what do I know?

As said before, if a gentleman is whitelisted by a number of good providers with good reputations I give him a little more credit.  I use whitelist with other forms of verifiction, never alone.

I will never whitelist anyone unless I truely feel he deserves it.  Not whitlisting someone will not hurt my business.  I will never whitelist someone for my own personal gain or in fear tht a gentleman will lash out at me or to get him to see me again.  Doing so would be putting other is danger as some providers use whitelist only as their way of screening.

and walked out with $10,000.

I also got a great BBBJTCNQNS.

Can't beat that!

I mean, it could have been under duress. Like under threat of having another 2 1/2 hr phone conversation with you every single nite for the next month? ;-)

and I give whitelists to those I have seen and think they are gentlemen. I find that it helps in seeing a man when reaching a provider is hard to do. I hope a lady would not whitelist a man who she didn't feel was safe to see.

For me, I look at who gave the gentleman the listing before thinking it is to be used as a tool towards referencing him. The more he might have the more weight they carry. I will see a man with whitelist over a man who carries no trail on TER or just writes reviews.

First and foremost the gentleman needs to PM me so we are on the same page

Any lady at all reading this thread ever ever white list a guy and who did NOT really want to?

I know some ladies don't like to whitelist so I have never asked. However, one of them whitelisted me without asking; that's fine with.

I imagine the whitelist is not that helpful for screening unless the providers are contacted.

I suspect like anything, white lisitng just raises the odds.  its like screening applicants' resumes.  you see somebody with a degree, and it raises the probaboility that they really do have a degree.   A white list member likely would raise the probability of not being either a flake or a thief, or smell like hell.  He could still be old and ugly.  Trust me on this last statement (sad but true).
